The parking is easy as it’s in the Safeway center. Inside is clean and bright. They have five or six small tables for limited seating. Menu is typical for Bay Area Vietnamese with pho, rice and noodle dishes on a simple one page menu. Staff is friendly but at this stage still learning how to function as a restaurant so the service is very slow. My pho broth was okay. My garlic noodle dish lacked flavor and I found the sauce too wet. My spring rolls were missing the traditional sprouts and carrots As they have just opened it will be worth checking in again at a later date.

Place felt nostalgic can’t rate the food just yet as I only had a drink but god the service was amazing I had Thai tea and I loved that it wasn’t too sweet, very welcoming I WILL be back due to the kindness and order something to eat I’ll update my review when done 🙂

Ordered the grilled pork Banh mi and the grilled pork rice plate. It didn’t tasted grilled at all as I usually order these when I go eat Vietnamese. It really tasted like some chinese stir fry and pretty dry. Would not recommend this meat

I’ve eaten Vietnamese Pho for over 45 years and prepared Pho before with difficulty and success. So I have to say something has changed at this restaurant which I’ve been to for at least 5 times. Unfortunately I don’t believe they’re preparing the pho with bones the traditional ways. The broth was sweet and lacking flavor, the rare beef was a strange cut of meat appearing to be chopped instead of thinly clean slices. No punch to the broth.
I can devour a whole bowl of traditionally broth itself because that’s what I love so much about PHO BO RARE BEEF but It’s sad to say I’m not returning.which leave me without local Vietnamese food. Service is nice though.that why I gave it a 3 star.

I ordered the crispy pork egg rolls to go (despite not usually liking egg rolls) because I needed a quick bite. These were PERFECTION. The proportions and seasoning were spot on and I’m definitely coming back to check out the other dishes.
