My wife and I will most definitely be returning!
Can’t wait to come back and make this a new regular spot ❤️
First of all—don’t let the name fool you. It’s not just sushi (though the sushi is incredible). They also have a great variety of hibachi dishes, so there’s truly something for everyone.
The staff was so friendly and welcoming, the decor is absolutely stunning, and the whole place has such a fun, upscale atmosphere—one of those restaurants where you immediately feel excited just sitting down. ✨
Right now, you do need to make a reservation. I messaged Emma on Facebook to get ours, but I’m sure you could also call. They’re open for both lunch and dinner, which is always a win.
We ordered the sushi platter for two, and let me tell you… it was WAY more food than we could eat. Fresh, beautifully presented, and so much variety—every bite was delicious.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for a new date night, friend outing, or just want to treat yourself to an amazing meal. We’ll definitely be back!
Let’s start with the menu. I understand this is an upscale establishment that primarily serves sushi. However, charging almost $19 for hibachi chicken feels excessive. Someone in our group doesn’t like sushi, so that was one of their only options. For Morristown, even at a higher-end restaurant, I think it should be closer to $16, especially since the portion size was unremarkable. The sushi prices themselves are on the higher side, but the presentation and taste were phenomenal and felt more justified.
The food: The sushi was absolutely delicious, and as mentioned, the presentation was beautiful and clearly prepared with care.
The service: We arrived around 12:30 on Valentine’s Day, so I understand it was busy. However, it took over an hour for us to receive our food, which felt excessive, especially since we only ordered two rolls and one hibachi chicken plate. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and polite. However, we were not offered drink refills during our visit.
Overall: The atmosphere is gorgeous, the sushi is excellent, and the presentation is impressive. The service was friendly but very slow, likely due to the holiday rush. Sushi prices felt appropriate for the quality, but the hibachi items seemed overpriced for the portion size. Would I give it another try? Absolutely. I would just wait until things are less busy.
