I had a great dining experience at Grand Kerala Restaurant. The Chatti Chor Chicken was the highlight of the meal ,rich, aromatic, and full of authentic Kerala flavours. The spices were perfectly balanced, and the dish tasted freshly prepared and delicious. What truly made the visit memorable was the supportive and friendly staff especially Aby and Shari. They were attentive, polite, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the meal. Their recommendations were helpful and service was prompt. Overall, a wonderful place for authentic Kerala food with excellent hospitality.

Tried out Grand Kerala restaurant today and was quite impressed overall. The Pothichor, Chicken 65, and Masala Dosa were absolutely delicious — full of authentic flavours and perfectly cooked. However, the Thawa Fried Prawns didn’t quite meet expectations. The masala seemed under-roasted, leaving a raw taste that affected the overall flavour of the dish. With a bit more attention to the roasting of spices, it could have been much better. The ambience of the restaurant was absolutely amazing. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the warm lighting, elegant decor, and tasteful music that set the perfect mood.

If your are looking to for an authentic south Asian Kerala food, this is the place to go. Food was delicious with generous portions. My parents were very pleased today. Mum even commented that it’s like home-cooked meal. The service was excellent and the waiters were polite. Joyal, our waiter was very informative and helpful. Decor inside was also beautiful and clean.

Surprisingly Perfect
It was random visit with friends while passing through Manchester. The restaurant was really big with good seating space. Bathrooms were spacious and clean compared to other Kerala restaurants we have been to.
We ordered Paal Porotta, beef kizhi porotta, king fish molly, tea and juices. Each item was top notch with good quality and quantity. Loved the service and the food presentation.
Definitely visit again
NB: Kerala restaurants have issues with consistency so beware about it.

Tried this place recently and was quite disappointed. The food took a long time to arrive, and when it did, it didn’t meet expectations. The rabbit roast had a burnt smell and had to be sent back. The kalappam was over-fermented, undercooked, and didn’t resemble traditional kallappam. The chatti chor had a good amount of rice, but the curry portion was too small. Service was okay, but there was no apology or acknowledgment for the issues. Overall, a poor experience.
