I always assumed (bad idea, I know) that this was a Greek restaurant. Well, they’re open for lunch, so I stopped in.
Turns out they are a breakfast & lunch joint, open 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. daily.
Greeted quickly by a friendly guy, I took a seat and began perusal of the menu.
A Rueben on a cold blustery day sounded good.
Overhearing conversations led me to believe there are a lot of regulars frequenting the place. Good sign in my book.
My sandwich was good, hot and filling. And only $9. Good deal, Lucille.
Staff was pleasant & present as often as you’d expect without being too often. Professional.

Breakfast pretty much all day, amazing service, guy was super nice. French toast is gas try it. Red velvet pancakes? Never heard of it-but it was amazing!

Food was great! We went for a normal diner breakfast – I got the special and she got the apple pancakes. But while the food was hot, fresh, and normal diner quality; the decor and the atmosphere really have suffered. I used to go here as a kid and I don’t think the inside has been updated since then. Most of the booth seats have holes, the ceiling tiles show moldy leaks, and the walls are splattered with something. Our server didn’t know what was inside the apple pancakes and actually ASKED us what was in it.
Listen. I’m not leaving this review to be mean. It’s incredibly hard to run a successful food business in this economy, especially when you don’t want to overcharge your customers. But you have to at least upkeep your restaurant to be clean and well maintained. Otherwise new customers like us will be discouraged from coming back in the future.

Right after new ownership was in place I dined in with my daughter and it was delicious, and the server was great! Today I got a carryout for the family and again, the food was delicious! The menu options are surprising. Both times the staff was very welcoming and friendly. We definitely be back!

This place is so good! I’ve passed it by for over 20 years and never fired it into the other day. My friend suggested it and said she’d been gong there for many years. Family owned for over 25 years. The Greek grilled chicken pita has to be the best chicken pita I ever had. It blew Coney Islands Hani away! My friend had the chicken pita made like the Hani. They pile the chicken on. I will be back for sure! They are reasonably priced and oh! You have to try the waffle fries!

Stopped in for breakfast. Ordered cinnamon roll pancakes, southern omelet and a coffee. Both the southern omelet and the cinnamon roll pancakes were great! Definitely recommend these two menu items! The coffee was nothing special, maybe even slightly below average. The staff is friendly and will most likely be back!

My favorite neighborhood diner. Fresh ingredients and always home-made from scratch. Best soups and sandwiches. Very friendly and welcoming staff. A local gem. They really care about their customers. Open 7 days from 7 am till 3 pm.
