The space is nice and it’s quiet so you can speak with your party without screaming over the piped in muzak. So, why only a three star rating? Two reasons really. First, it is very pricey with a glass of wine averaging almost $15. Secondly, our waitress was significantly clueless about their food offerings. I asked about the cheeses on their plate and was told they come in big blocks from the Whole Foods across the way. When i asked about the label, she told me that the 16 year old operating the kitchen would not know. Really? Not know how to read a label?
That whole interaction really soured the whole experience for us. Then we had to ask for more crackers from the same waitress and waited over 10 minutes for them. Not good!
What I don’t like about this place is the hours! It doesn’t promote regular business. I’ve tried many times to come for a quick drink and it’s not open. If it was open even one hour sooner it would support more business. Often on a Monday, I am forced to go to a different place. Once, I stopped by at 4:45 and someone gave me a dirty look (indicating they weren’t going to open early).
Please please change your hours!
