Overall its ok. I wouldn’t come back though. The ahi was OK, not the best or worst I’ve had and the salmon was again OK but the risotto was TOO al dente, needed more broth and stirring time to absorb the broth and it was too salty. There is a nice view of the city and service was again OK but not worth the price of almost $100 for 1 person with 1 appetizer, 2 glasses of wine, and 1 entree. This is the most mediocre review Ive written by the way and I do travel a lot. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t good either. So if you want to pay $100 per person for a mediocre meal, go for it.

Roof top bar with great views, nice unique cocktails, food looked good (though I did not eat), lots of tables and a few big couches with open space both outdoor and indoor. Highly recommended for a nice dinner, maybe a date or a gathering.

We came this time to check out the Halloween decor and it was a great stop for our predinner cocktails. Republic on Grand is a great go-to downtown. The vibe is fun and relaxed, drinks are solid, and the food always hits. It’s a good spot to hang with friends, grab happy hour, or just pop in before a night out. Overall, just a reliable, easy place to enjoy in DSM. Also decorated super cute!

My wife and some friends of ours went for Restaurant Week, and enjoyed our food a lot! The Shrimp Ceviche was full of flavor, the Salmon Romesco was excellent, and the dessert spread was so delicious. The desserts were definitely the best part.
The only negative part of the experience was the slow service. We waited nearly an hour between being seated and getting our appetizers. Our waitress took almost 30 minutes to get us our check, and in total, we were there for almost 3 hours. If we were sipping cocktails, this would have been fine, but we were all drinking water.
The atmosphere was great, the food was good, but the service could have been a lot better!!
