i got the Southern Benedict which is 2 biscuits topped with a sausage patty ,poached eggs, and topped with sausage gravy. the taste was great but the poached eggs were overcooked with just a little of the yolk runny. i got the hashbrowns and asked for them to be extra crispy which they were not. i was very hungry and tired so i just ate what i got and didn’t say anything which is on me. my partner got scrambled eggs and home fries. the eggs were under seasoned as well as the home fries.
If i was in the area i might visit again but definitely wouldn’t go out of the way to visit. the staff was very nice.

We were looking for a breakfast place with a cozy neighborhood feel. Stephy’s seemed to be such a place. Unfortunately, our expectations were far from met. I ordered an omelet. It came nice and hot, but the taste and quality were barely average. My wife’s eggs with hash browns and bacon was served cold. So cold that the butter didn’t melt on the toast. We couldn’t get our waitress’s attention and she didn’t stop by to check on us until I was almost done with my meal. When we told her the food came out cold, she offered to bring my wife fresh toast. That was the extent of her apology. Hardly a compensating gesture, the toast took about 10 minutes to arrive. No adjustment to the bill was offered. We definitely won’t be going back to or recommending Stephy’s.

Breakfast Angels I loved their blueberry pancakes. Lots of blue berries and the sweet butter on top was so good. The home fries were delicious, eggs cooked perfect, and sausage patties in point. I sat at the bar and enjoyed watching everyone whip up breakfast. The staff was friendly. It is a good family environment. I will definitely be back. Be prepared to eat a lot!

I think about the steak tips here in my sleep – they are that good! You won’t find a better breakfast anywhere.

My company HQ is nearby and I pass thru town regularly. I travel for work and I eat a wide range of things people call “breakfast”. This place is an exceptional diner! I had their Greek Benedict eggs 6 months ago and I’m back at 6 am again. The asparagus Benedict was the special and it was fantastic. I will be back again.

Stephy’s is an old fashion diner style breakfast restaurant that is in our rotation for the 4 or 5 breakfast places we go to. It has everything you need in a breakfast restaurant. One of the better french toasts in the area, the home fries are crispy and have good flavors, they have great muffins, and they even have some specialty items such as the Scottish egg which I really enjoyed the first time I went there. Very cheesy with bits of bacon and well seasoned. Plus they always have really good specials that change often enough. One of my favorite specials I’ve seen has spinach, cheese, and red peppers and it’s an amazing blend of flavors. The staff is great and will steer you in the right direction if you’re unsure of what to order. They can sometimes be a little slow to get to you but the place is small enough where you can call them over, and our coffee rarely goes empty. We never have too tough of a time getting in, only twice have we had a short wait. The prices are fair and we never leave Stephy’s hungry. I admit we’ve had a few meals that didn’t impress us much there, but it was ingredients not the dish itself that were the issue (ex. the asparagus in one of the specialty omelettes paired with green peppers.) The few complaints I have of this place would never keep me away from Stephy’s, and I’d recommend it to anyone on the North Shore looking for a hearty breakfast.
