The service was both cordial and accommodating. The cuisine was exceptional; I personally enjoyed the TX Mex Burger accompanied by tater tots. My children selected the grilled cheese and cheeseburger, respectively, both served with fries. They thoroughly enjoyed their meals and expressed a desire to return.

They use REAL chicken for their chicken strips. They look and taste homemade, like someone cut the chicken into pieces and fried them. Delicious. Grilled Chicken burger also super delicious and filling. Friendly service. Yvonne makes cookies and cheesecake. They look scrumptious, but I was practicing discipline so I didn’t get any. Gambled on Google Maps and hit a little jackpot. Well worth getting off the highway and driving through the beautiful little old-fashioned downtown.

Had the best BLT here over the weekend! Service was wonderfully friendly, quick to give tips on the menu and make recommendations – everything we ordered was delicious, especially the fried pickles! The restaurant was very clean, the food was fast and satisfying, the menu has lots of options but was very well-organized so it was easy to find what we wanted, and every other diner seemed just as happy with their experience as we were. 5 stars across the board, I’ll be back every time I need lunch in El Campo!

We love “off the beaten path” hometown places to eat and this one did NOT disappoint! Located in a “needs a little love” strip mall, the brimming hospitality begins when you enter the door and a hearty “howdy” comes from the counter! Being ate first time there, we chose the Mighty Burgers which has made them famous. The Mighty Texas burger was my husbands choice and I went for the signature Mighty Burger!
They were HUGE and very delicious! Such a good hamburger! We loved every bite until we couldn’t finish the last bites! lol. We here tell of their famous baked potatoes so we may need to find our way back! Thank you Father and Sons for a wonderfully happy break on our long drive and for your delicious food and hometown hospitality! ❤️

Counter ordering, very friendly and patient staff. The chili cheeseburger was fantastic, a lot of excellent chili. Fries are hand cut and crisp. Fried pickles were crunchy and flavorful. Our party of five was happy with their selections.

The food was really good, the burger had good flavor. Service was friendly, but if you think you’re just going to go in and get food quickly, think again. It’s just like any other good restaurant. You wait for quality. If passing through like I was definitely a place to try, even if local, but the locals already know what they have there.

First time voting this establishment and it was really really good! Got there about 11:50 a.m. on a Monday and only about 4 people sitting down. Made me kinda wonder if I had chosen a good spot or not to meet my son for lunch.
Well, within 15-20 minutes the place was buzzing and within 30 min there was hardly a place to sit down.
I ordered fried pickles as an appetizer and they were delicious! As for our entrées, I had the hamburger salad (yeah I know) and he had the club sandwich. Let me tell ya, that hamburger was seasoned very nicely and really made for a delightful salad. His club came out looking as clean cut and so stacked as a sandwich I’ve ever seen.
Order at the counter and they bring it to your table! Service was good and people friendly!
A definite repeat visitor here!!

Everything was so good. I had the turkey club. I added avocado and bacon. It was amazing. My mom had a chicken fried steak with gravy and she loved it.
