Finally got around to trying this place today. My sausage breakfast quesadilla was so good I decided to order another to go for dinner, despite a wait of almost 15 minutes, which wasn’t bad under the circumstances (some kind of cycling convention was in town, and the lines were out the door). Strawberry milkshake hit the spot! Really nice staff who’s fun to talk to. Can’t wait to come here on a weekday and chill.

Stopped in on a day trip for ice cream. Cute little spot, really good ice cream. right off the highway so it was easy to get in and out. nice unique selection of ice creams and seemed to be a local favorite. It was a rather small spot. very neat decor and the staff was friendly, accommodating, and did a really great job managing their time and staying busy while still giving great service. Kids both enjoyed their cones, I had some of their adult oriented ice cream. Picky husband was very not impressed but thats ok the rest of us greatly enjoyed it. Would recommend and would return. they did have some vegan options too which was nice for some of the other customers.

Delightful little breakfast, sandwich, and ice cream shop. On my first visit, I had the “Big Breakfast Sandwich” and it was exactly the little diner type I’d been craving, with generous amounts of cheese, bacon and eggs between slices of perfectly toasted bread. Will definitely be back. Catty-corner across from Z Casino.

I love this place. It’s nestled in the mountains with beautiful views while you have your coffee. The owners are very kind and welcoming. I’m from Houston Texas and we don’t get much spectacular views. It’s so nice to enjoy fresh air with great views.

The turkey hawk was the best sandwich I’ve had in a long time. Fresh crisp lettuce, nice crispy thick bacon. Coffee was smooth as well.

This is a nice spot to visit if you’re looking for something quick to eat/drink in this area. Customer service was pleasant; food and coffee was good too; atmosphere was warm and cozy.

If your in the area of the casinos, NO MATTER HOW COLD THE TEMP ARE OUTSIDE, stop by and grab you a cup. You won’t regret it. This ice cream is sooooo authentic and good. I got a pint of 3 flavors and it’s the best ever. It cost around 8.00 but worth every penny. These are pics of my pint of green needs, blueberry cheese cake and the cheeseman. There are 2 other great pics of what the others got.

I’ve stopped here a few times over the last few weeks while traveling to Black Hawk. I was hoping to support a local shop instead of the casino Starbucks, but unfortunately, I wasn’t impressed either time.
On my first visit, they were out of cold brew, so I opted for an iced Americano. On my second visit, I was able to order a cold brew, but I watched the barista top off the cup with tap water (not filtered). I’m not sure why you would dilute a cold brew that way, especially with tap water. Additionally, the service was extremely slow despite the shop not being very busy. Next time we’re in town, we’ll likely stick to Starbucks or find a shop in a neighboring city.

We loved this cute mountain coffee and ice cream stop. We had the vanilla London fog and turkey egg and cheese bagel. I was a little disappointed because our bagel was not made in house. It was still good but I do like fresh made eggs.

Coming here feels like stumbling upon a quaint local experience. 12 chairs and a welcoming staff make this a wonderful stop. Stop in here for a much needed respite from the nearby casinos. Good food, great treats, and coffee. Try the biscuits and gravy, and thank me later.
