Definitely the best Jamaican food that I’ve had in Utah! The flavors are wonderful and the portions are generous. I got the jerk chicken, curry chicken, and ox tail, all of which were fantastic! The ox tail could have been cooked a little longer but it was still good! The restaurant is more of a pick up window with no where to sit so you’ll have to get it to go. So If you’re looking to try Jamaican food in Utah definitely stop in!

Amazing delicious food. The oxtail was made to perfection! Huge portions. The curry chicken was wonderfully spiced and equally delicious. The owner is so kind and wonderful to talk to. You will not regret eating here! Great addition to the slc food options.

Delicious food and the owner was incredibly nice and was so excited for us to try his cuisine. Loaded up our plates too and the value was incredible. Had to go twice in the one weekend that we were in SLC

Great little hidden take out kitchen, which apparently also supplies their food truck. The jerk chicken meal was great! Comes with rice, slaw, potato salad, and fried plantains. All were great! Suggest getting extra jerk sauce on it! Fresh made pineapple and ginger drink was also very good. Strong ginger flavor. Chai (I think I am spelling his name correctly?) was very friendly.

I’m not a big fan of slaws nor potato salads. Well, except when they’re from here. Everything that comes in the meal is absolutely excellent. And to boot the service is great. I’ve now had the goat and the oxtail. I highly recommend both. Great and bold flavors. And Chai, the owner, is the coolest guy. His barber shop is the coolest place for a haircut in town too.

First time having Jamaican food, and I couldn’t ask for anything better. I got the Chicken Curry w/ Plantains and Potato Salad & a Pineapple Ginger drink. Food was amazing and the owner was super friendly and will make you feel welcomed, every time I come back to Utah I’m for sure stopping by again. I wish it was in Vancouver, WA/Portland, OR area so I could get it more often.

I’ve tried a few Jamaican restaurants in Utah and this is by far the best and closest to authentic. I’m only half Jamaican, but my mom was born and raised there, and I grew up on everything from jerk chicken and oxtail to curry and ackee with saltfish. This is the only place that’s truly made me feel like I was eating my momma’s home cooking again.

The food is incredible, the portions are huge (usually two meals for me), and everything is made and served by the loveliest lady. I’ll definitely be coming back.

If you’re thinking about trying it, do it. You won’t be disappointed.

My top dishes so far:
1. Oxtail
2. Stewed beef
3. Curry chicken
4. Jerk chicken
