Food is terrible. My fish was hard and no flavor in the breading. The Mac and cheese was just wet Mac and no cheese. The coleslaw was also terrible. My husbands burger was burnt along with the onions on it. Food was gross years ago and we thought we’d give it another shot and regret it unfortunately. The chicken wing dip was good though. And the service was also good.

Whenever I crave a BLT, this is the place to go! The bacon is always cooked to perfection. Fresh produce. Been three times so far and each time the BLT has been perfect! Food comes out fast as well.

Server was not very attentive because she was also the bartender and serving everyone else. She was friendly, though. The garlic parmesan tenders were good, as well as the white chicken chili. Onion rings were also pretty good. Especially with their honey mustard. Drinking water tasted like it came out of a faucet as opposed to a real tap. Nachos we’re not good at all. Sent them back. The location is pretty seedy. There was literally a pile of dog pooh on the sidewalk where I parked.

Visited with a group of thirty-six people on a Friday night. One waitress for all of us. She was fantastic. Every order was correct. Food didn’t take very long to arrive. She never stopped moving. Only had help from one server who helped her bring the food. As for the food, the Cobb salad was outstanding, and the other food brought to my table looked good, and no one stated that they had any issues with theirs. Very nice place.

I’ve been here a few times now. The food is decent pub style food, and there’s a good tap selection. Atmosphere is about on par. I’d take it over a chain for sure, but there’s other decent restaurants in town I’d go to first most of the time.

The small one issue I ran into, more than once, is that there’s consistently much slower service if you go in on a Sunday afternoon. My guess is that they may cut some staff on Sundays or something, because on any other day of the week I tend to get better service.

This was my 2nd time visiting Central City Bar & Grill and was not disappointed. We actually planned a trip to Cortland just to eat here. We came in for dinner at 9PM, were seated and served by an awesome waitress with the best personality. Everything we ordered was delish and portion sizes were huge! Definitely worth the visit if ever in the area!

Server was absolutely great!…. Drinks were underwhelming 8$ for some pink thing that tasted like half a shot of vodka while the rest was sugar water. Same with the mule overly sweet didn’t taste much like ginger or lime. Chicken wings definitely not worth the price tag got the inferno was mild at best. Pretzel also not great, greasy with a cold side of mustard. Was originally going to get dinner as well but after the pretzels and the wings and drinks being the low bar that they were. Didn’t seem worth the money to be disappointed further. Online menu also very outdated

Excellent atmosphere and service. I highly recommend the locally caught perch fish fry (Wednesday special). Also try the Homer Hops Patsy’s Quest on tap – a chocolate coconut porter. And if Gigi is your bartender, show her some love. Oddly enough, they don’t serve mules. And I had my heart set on a Moscow Mule. It does seem like the younger staff engages more with “odd-duty” employees than customers.

Service was great. We liked our server Connor. Beers were good. The server let us try a sample to make sure we would enjoy it. Food was average. Servings were quite large. A few members of the family were not thrilled with the shrimp scampi. Overall, we were pleased.

When I stopped in with a friend, there was a family/friends gathering for a lacrosse team, busy and loud enough that the server didn’t see us right away. The service stands out as one of the best experiences I’ve had in upstate NY. Great food and big portions, I will definitely be back.
