A True Gem in Michigan Center – We Always Leave Happy!
Los Tres Amigos in Michigan Center has become our absolute favorite spot for authentic Mexican food and warm hospitality. From the moment you walk in, the vibrant atmosphere and friendly smiles make you feel right at home.
Our favorite waitress, Sherry Adams, is simply the best! She always greets us with genuine warmth, remembers our usual orders, and takes such excellent care of us—checking in just the right amount without ever rushing us. Sherry truly makes every visit feel like coming home to family.
The food is outstanding and consistently delicious. The Tacos Locos are a standout—perfectly seasoned with that incredible roasted spring onion garnish that adds such a fresh, flavorful touch. For special occasions, I love treating myself to the Fajitas Amigos or the Fajipiña; the sizzling platters are loaded with tender meats, fresh veggies, and all the fixings, served with generous portions that never disappoint. My wife raves about their generous margaritas—always perfectly mixed, refreshing, and just the right size for enjoying without worry.
Everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with care, and the portions are so hearty we often have leftovers for the next day. If you’re looking for great Mexican food with even better service in the Jackson area, this is the place! Thank you to Sherry and the whole team—we’ll be back soon!

First time here and the food was delicious! Plenty of parking and seating. The service was fast and friendly. The food came out hot and fresh. No complaints or issues. Highly recommend checking this place out!

This is the second time ordering takeout from this location and both times the same issue…the consommé. The first time they forgot it completely and this time it was completely smashed and the liquid was everywhere in the bag.
To whoever packages up to-go orders…you do NOT put the liquid consommé on the bottom of the stack of items when the stack includes heavy rice and heavy refried beans. You put the heaviest item on bottom otherwise you end up with this issue. This is basic packing common sense.
The consommé is what makes or breaks the quesabirra taco order so when that gets ruined…the whole dish is ruined. The tacos taste fine without it but when you want quesabirria tacos you want that delicious consommé. It’s why you order quesabirria tacos versus just tacos.

Authentic Mexican restaurant. The menu is large and the prices are decent. The food portions are large. Pictured is the Special Dinner. It was just about $17 and was absolutely huge!! My favorite menu item is hands down the Chile Relleno. Their Margaritas are amazing as well. Definitely recommend this restaurant.
