Underwhelming. Many other options that are far better in price, variety, service, and cleanliness.
The sushi itself was mediocre in appearance.
The tepenyaki beef was just bleh.
The dragon roll was decent and the eel was prepared well. The shrimp tempura roll was subpar.
The man who greets, prepares sushi, and checks you out is… Different. He was arguing with someone on the phone about ordering over the phone, and insisted on them coming in person. He attempted to talk me out of what I wanted to originally order in an aggressive and pressing manner. The restaurant was DEAD when we were there, yet we received the slowest service. Maybe they have later crowd due to their closing hour at 4am?? We are at 7. Spring rolls for $6 for 2, they were small and had next to nothing in them. $60 for a below average experience and cuisine. We won’t be back.

Dined in on one of our late nights in Wichita. We used to go to the old location back in the day when they had a drive thru, and food/service is as delicious/great as I could remember. It’s always nice to see the owner so detailed into his craft; working hard to serve his customers, and always giving you that personable experience. The crawfish is delicious, probably one of the best seasonings I’ve ever had, unlike the kind you get at buffets. It’s great food to curb the appetite on a late night. Definitely recommend coming here to support this small business. Thanks, Jacky!

Amazing. I bit into the Inari Avocado Boat and it was beyond delicious. Haven’t had something that yummy in months, wow. The fried rice is ACTUALLY fried rice with chopped toppings and fresh egg. So delicious. The vegetable tempura, great deal and awesome quality. Open until 3am Thur-Sat. Great prices. That huge pile of rice for $10. When I’d get a much sadder version at any hole in the wall and it would be a pint and at least $6-8. Jacky Chan, you’re my new spot. The staff are very nice!

The rolls are 80% rice, and while the prices are lower than their neighbors like Sapporo or Ninza East, their fish portions (see pictures) are skimped. My husband ordered the fried rice and enjoyed it.
Their youngest child helper (middle school age maybe?) was coughing and rubbing his nose between being forced to bring dishes to our table, not explaining which rolls were which, and awkwardly dropping them on the glass table top. This place has been decent in the past, nothing to write home about, and is definitely a place to avoid now. I hate to say it, but you have to work hard to make a decent sushi restaurant worthwhile in town with so many competitors, and the sanitation these days is NOT up to par.
We were the only ones in the restaurant at 6pm on a Saturday, and didn’t get refills or have our plates taken away, so they stacked up and we felt neglected to the many GrubHub orders stacking up by the register, despite being the only ones to tend to.

Only reason their getting a 4 is because the food was great.
Zero chance I’ll be back they barely gave us enough sweet and sour sauce to get our rocks off. Wild right? Anyway.

Pleasant surprise! First time here and wasn’t expecting much based on looks and location alone. What a secret-hidden gem! Went late afternoon/early evening on a Sunday and were were the only ones there. Seriously was blown away! Our server was super polite and tended to all if our needs. The sushi was great! Sweet and sour chicken was super fresh, crunchy and not at all that nasty rubbery hard to chew chicken that a lot of restaurants offer. The sweet and sour sauce was perfect… along with the crab rangoon and the fried spring rolls. The pho was almost perfect. The beef was super tough but the broth, noodles and everything else were amazing. Will definitely be returning!

Grime under nails. Did not wash hands and became racist when asked for refund.

I truly hate leaving reviews like this. But last night was not what I expected. First, I want to start off by saying my sister and I have been eating here for 3 years with no issues. We expected to have a similar experience. We observed the male working not wash his hands and he had black grime under his nails. My sister didn’t want to say anything initially. She had just picked up the food and went to the car. However she couldn’t get herself to eat it. So, she politely asked for a refund. He immediately declined. My sister didn’t have the heart to tell him that it was because of his hands but still initially insisted on a refund. However, he said “we do not do card refunds”. We asked him where the sign was that said “No card refunds”, to which he grumbled and stated “this is why we don’t serve your kind”. We initially ignored it because, whatever. We weren’t being rude or disrespectful to him. So, that was a weird thing to say. He continued to process the refund on the machine. Then we asked what he meant by “our kind”. He continued with “people who look like you. You cause trouble”. Which was uncalled for. I immediately told him that this was racist. He said “I don’t care”. We had a friend with us who was white and also had to correct this behavior. He then changed his response to “oh we say that to everyone”. He had a woman next to him who was speaking in another language, and pointing at us. She never spoke to us. We told them we meant no harm and was not trying to even cause issues. I am shocked and again, WE WERE NOT DISRESPECTFUL! But racism is never called for.

Screamed across the restaurant at us to take our drink and food order. No lights turned on in the restaurant. Smelled horrible of natural gas. Some sort of construction noise coming from the back?

We don’t stay after the second screaming from behind the bar across the restaurant at us. Didn’t eat anything. Could be good food? But I’m not about to be screamed at and then asked to tip. Nah.
