If there’s one place my husband and I come to every time we’re visiting Lebanon, it’s here. Entrecôte is always pleasantly consistent. It’s such a simple yet exquisite meal. You choose how you want your steak cooked, and it comes with a delicious salad, steak frites, and we usually get a half bottle of wine. The experience is cozy, and the staff are professional. Whether it’s a winter day or the middle of summer, you can never go wrong. They don’t take reservations, but we’ve never had to wait. Can’t recommend it enough!

This place has its own charm! Cosy atmosphere offering a set menu of one option : steak and fries that is served with a salad. Authentic experience, good food. Offer options for dessert. The food is served in half a portion at first then they refill the remaining portion.

If you love steak and fries, this place is heaven!

The set menu is pretty simple but perfect—fresh salad, tender steak with their famous sauce, and crispy fries that keep coming. Total set menu is about 30$/person, excluding dessert and drinks.

The Parisian bistro vibe and friendly service make the whole experience even better.

Managers and waiters are very polite, friendly, and respectful.

Not to mention the delicious dessert – Yummm!!

Charmy, cozy and elegant place to lunch or dinner in Beirut. We went craving for high quality meat and reached our expectations.

L’Entrecôte is one of those places that’s just always good. It’s simple, and somehow still feels a little special every time. You pick how you want your steak cooked, and that’s it. It comes with their classic salad, steak frites, and we usually split a half bottle of wine. I personally don’t like the salad the mustard is pungent and all I can taste.

The vibe is cozy, the staff are super professional, and everything runs like clockwork. One thing that actually stands out? They don’t play any dining music. Our server mentioned that none of their franchises do. At first you notice it, then you realize it’s kind of nice. You can actually talk, hear each other, and just enjoy the meal without background noise.

We visited Le Relais de l’Entrecôte – Monot last Saturday around 10:30 PM. Although it was close to closing time, that should not affect service quality.

No menu was presented to us. When we asked about the house wine options and their prices, the waiter seemed irritated by the question, which felt unnecessary and unprofessional.

I ordered my meat medium well. The cut was thicker than expected and not as tender as I’m used to from this restaurant.

We paid the bill first, as it was already late. Unfortunately, right after, I noticed a hair in the sauce. I informed the waitress, who apologized briefly, but no manager came to speak with us or properly address the issue. There was a sense of carelessness in the way the situation was handled — as if it wasn’t taken seriously.

We are paying customers, not asking for a favor. Hygiene and respect should be maintained until the last guest leaves.

We’ve previously enjoyed this restaurant, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Sadly, this will be our last visit!!

‍♂️ I dunno, been years since I’ve been back and something is just off with their steaks and the sauce. Used to be one of my favorite French steak places but it’s now missing the mark.
Service is great and the atmosphere is still the same but it’s just not as good as I remember it to be.

Food, this is my 3rd time I not having a good steak at this place, either tendons or the hard fat on the side. Not accepted quality.even after compliant came with a non tender cut.
Also the sauce consistency is not as it used to be years back or how it is in Paris.

Service is basic
Atmosphere, boring still the same since forever.
Many better steak options in town

If you want to experience the Parisian vibes and try the most delicious steak in Lebanon you have to try this restaurant!
The food’s quality is so high everything was fresh!
They start with a salad with dijon dressing then they serve their masterpiece.
The food tasted like heaven I couldn’t stop eating even tho I was full after I finished the first plate!
I ordered 3 different desserts to try, they were all so good but my favorite was “crème brûlée »
I have to add that the service was amazing.
I loved the vibe of the restaurant. It is truly a gem in Beirut.

The service, desert and the wine were good in the same old beautiful place. But the meeting was chewy and the sauce was not as usual it was fishy tasted like anchovies and very watery.
