Very offended this is my second time experiencing price gouging. Places like this take customers for granted ,just because they’ve been in business for a long time. Sadly their reputation has seriously depleted over the years. I am a person who orders food the same way every time, no changes , so I know the exact price of my order each time. A few months ago around Thanksgiving I noticed each time I would go the price changes, for the same order. First it was $10.50, four days later $10.75 , a week later $10.65 , then a few days later back to $10.75. So I ask the same lady that’s been working the register for years , who has horrible attitude no matter when you go in mind you, what happened she says prices went up. Nothing more , so I say ok and just make a mental note. Then the next time $10.95 , keep in mind this is all in a 3 week span. So I stop coming for a few months , then decided to try again last Friday , maybe it was a holiday thing I assume , my order was $10.85 then tonight $11 for the same order from last week paid the same way. Seriously!!!!!! I hate when businesses feel they can take advantage of you just because they’ve built up their business status. Where’s the loyalty to the customers that have kept you in business all these years!!!!! Please make sure you double check the price when you’re ordering and then when you pay for it!!!!

NO STARS That bad
Years ago, I was assaulted by the owners because they were rude and nasty while I was ordering food. I had to call the police. After many years I decided to let bygones go by. But when I order food through DoorDash, the food tastes OLD. The Lo Mein was soggy. The meats were tough. The egg rolls tasted like they were fried in OLD grease. . When I called, she continued to tell me that they cook everything when it’s ordered. That has nothing to do with cooking it in old grease and using soggy noodles. I will NOT ever go back. And I don’t recommend this place.

Chinese Inn is a family favorite. We have been patronizing this Chinese restaurant at least 7 years. The prices are great for families looking to feed the family.
The fried fish and chicken are amazing and crispy. The egg rolls are always done to perfection with the duck sauce on the side. The shrimp fried rice is a helping portion with nize size shrimp you don’t have to go and search for. The orange chicken and sesame chicken are a family favorite. We love the beef and vegetables and any steamed vegetable is sure to be a winner.
The food is served piping hot so please go ready to enjoy the taste of great flavor that you can be sure to get each time you return.
I know some places can be inconsistent with their charges and depends on who is answering the phone, but that is never the case with Chinese Inn.

I got the orange chicken off the lunch menu, and it was delicious. The rice had shrimp mixed in and was the best rice I’ve had at a Chinese restaurant in Louisiana. The orange chicken was cooked perfectly and sweet. The exterior of the restaurant was a mix of drab and decorated. The interior was really cool, with gold and red ceiling tiles showing the phoenix and dragon yin-yang, wood accents, carved pressed-wood dividers between booths, and more details.

Phone service was prompt and friendly. Food was done incredibly fast! However, this isn’t what I imagine enjoying when i have a craving for fresh pork lo mein. Little flavor, more vegetables than pork, and the juice was flooding the bottom of my bag. I am on my way to return this item. For the price point of $10,this is not a dish I care to eat. Went back to make a refund And the owner wanted to argue me as to why I don’t like it.

Had been wanting to try this place for a long time. Would probably give 2.5 stars. Customer service was bad. Food just wasn’t that good. Lovely atmosphere. Would be so much better if they played some music though, and if they had fresher food, were faster, and had good customer service.

They have me questioning if I’ve ever had real crab wonton. Their wontons have set the bar high. Working out of town and decided to eat here for the last night I was in town. Very good food.

chicken was slimy and bland, tasted microwaved. shrimp was also very bland, i ordered the Szechuan fried chicken and the sauce was very watery and unseasoned. the vegetables were the only thing decent.

Ordered the sesame chicken. It was just kinda… Sickening. I’m not even sure if I got chicken or if it was just the fried batter, I couldn’t taste any chicken. The shrimp fried rice was all right, nothing special other than the strong MSG flavor. The wanton apatizer was quite good
