Indian Mound Cafe, one of Norwood’s great longtime establishments. I’ve been a customer for over 40 years. Indian Mound offers a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to settle in and stay awhile. The burgers are hands-down some of the best around, and the Burger of the Month is always worth checking out—creative, thoughtfully crafted, and consistently delicious. The wings are excellent, and whether you’re in the mood for soup or chili, you can count on it being flavorful and satisfying. Add in cold beer at very reasonable prices, and you’ve got a winning combination.
What truly sets Indian Mound apart is that it’s proudly female-owned by a wonderful owner who has spent decades in the business. Her experience shows in every detail, from the welcoming environment to the genuine care she shows both longtime neighborhood regulars and curious first-time visitors. She’s always polite, approachable, and clearly enjoys connecting with everyone who walks through the door.

*UPDATE. Unfortunately in the last few months the quality of the burger has went down and the prices went up. $8.50 is the new price I can no longer say great place great price. I’m not even sure I can call this a
tomato, it was a good ride though.

Best bar burger I have had in quite sometime! If you like a burger that has the grease run down your arm and drip off of your elbow, then this is the place for you. Burgers the way they should be! Can’t wait to go back. Awesome job by the staff.

Stumbled in this small corner local bar/restaurant.l after a Drs appointment down the street. Convenient on street parking til 3, weekdays. Parking lot in rear. Limited menu to keep costs down with daily specials. Service was very friendly. Prices were excellent. Party rooms for large groups. And they had Guinness!

I love coming here. Julie is great and I love the kitchen too. The wings are some of the best I’ve ever had. The grilled cheese “mounded” or whatever it’s called is sooooo good. All around, a great place so get some grub and a cold one. I recommend this place for the wings but its an all around banger.

We’ve driven by IMC hundred of times and it has always looked like a fun, neighborhood place, so we wanted to try something different and went there last night. Got a table right away and I love the atmosphere, neighborhood joint which we love. Great first time experience here. Everyone was very nice and the staff was on it when it came to the refills. Great home town feel and great first time vibes. Would highly suggest stopping by for a quick Miller or two. I did not get a chance to sample the food but from the menu and smell I lost out cause it looked great.

Met up with some old friends and had a great time at the Mound , quick friendly service.
However I ordered the burger of the month which was a knock off Big Boy and onion rings. The burger itself was good but the homemade sauce was terrible, too sweet.the onion rings would have been better if they were hot, left most of the food on the plate.

Cozy environment, friendly staff, great comfort food. I always order the reuben with a side of mounded potato soup. It was the first reuben I’ve ever had and it’s very craveable!
