We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Leatherby’s in Lincoln! From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for something special.
Our server, Sophia, provided exceptional 5-star customer service throughout our entire visit. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her warmth and professionalism really elevated our dining experience.
We also had the pleasure of meeting the manager, Shaylin, who went above and beyond to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. You could tell she genuinely cared about our experience, and that kind of authentic hospitality is rare to find these days. It’s clear she takes pride in running a quality establishment.
The food was fantastic, but the dessert was truly the star of the show, absolutely incredible! Everything exceeded our expectations.
The restaurant itself was immaculately clean, including the bathrooms, which is always a great sign of a well-maintained establishment.

We love the Leatherby’s Family Creamery and come almost every Sunday because everything is consistently fresh and delicious. The ice cream is amazing, the food dishes are also good, and the staff is always friendly. Great atmosphere and highly recommended!

We came with a fairly large family on a last night on a Friday night and the service was Incredible. Very friendly staff. Food was amazing. And the ice cream was perfect. We came from Modesto and will be visiting more often. Amazing place. Thank you for the experience. I ordered the new chicken buffalo sandwich and the new lemon ice cream Sunday. I may be butchering the names of my orders but very much enjoyed it.

Our server was attentive. The food was good. The ice cream is delicious. They had a children’s special which saved $$$. I just wish they hired more busser staff to clear the tables quicker so there wasn’t as long of a line at the door. We definitely will return again!

First time at Leatherby’s. I picked up my granddaughter from her school and we rode my Harley trike, she loved it. The 2 waitresses were very attentive and kind. My cheeseburger and fries were very good. My granddaughter had chicken and fries with both of us drinking Dr.Pepper. She had a double scoop of bubble gum ice cream, with caramel topping.

Mmmmm…. love Leatherbys ice cream and fudge. I order the Richs Bannana Split with 2 scoops of pistachio and a third scoop of whatever I feel. Some of my favorites are mint chip, chocolate chip, toasted almond, or butter pecan.
This order comes with several different toppings and I love them all. The toppings are pretty typical as toppings go.
For food, the club is one of my favorites. Their fries are coated which give them an extra crunch without being too crispy. I love them hot to dip in my ice cream… (don’t knock it till you try it – trust me).
Gets loud in the restaurant but it is a popular place so there are lots of people in there.

From the moment we walked into Leatherby’s Ice Cream, we were greeted with a warm and cheerful vibe! The classic ice cream parlor charm set the tone for a fun and delicious lunch with friends. We knew right away we were in for a treat!

The food hit all the right notes! I went with the juicy California Burger—so satisfying! My wife loved her fresh and hearty Cali Club Sandwich , while our friends enjoyed another burger and a creamy Egg Salad Sandwich. And of course, we all shared a basket of those golden, crispy Parlor Fries—pure perfection!

I’ve been a fan of Leatherby’s since I was a kid, starting with the original in Sacramento. It’s truly remarkable how they’ve maintained the exact same high quality and family atmosphere over 30 years. Now, with the expansion to Lincoln, I’m thrilled to see that the high-quality ingredients, great atmosphere, reasonable prices, and discounts are still in place. It feels just like home.

The atmosphere looks just like an older type of diner, a creamery type of ice cream parole, and does feature a new group party area with tv and fire place. There is a little of different dining experiences to be had here.
Let’s get on to the food!! I tried the BBQ Ranch Salad which was ok 7.5/10, it needs some fresher ingredients like the corn must of been from a can, the dressing were solid though. The ice cream is where it is at! I tried a bunch different once Peanut Butter Oreo very tasty 9/10. 1982 Ice Cream which has Chocolate and Carmel and Oreos 9.5/10. The Cookie Dough is the best cookie dough ice cream I’ve ever had with a brown sugar base instead of vanilla 9.8/10. Overall you want a n amazing dessert involving ice cream come to this spot! I will be back!!
