We are inspired by the large dining area and the local community, wanted an atmosphere appealing to everyone. “We are excited to be in Park Slope. We wanted a place where couples, families, and large groups can experience friendly and attentive service, a cozy environment, and great food of course.” Folks can enjoy traditional and Thai-inspired dishes. Also, we have a wide variety of authentic Thai noodle soups, Ramen, Wok, and Curry dishes for every craving. Some of our selections may be familiar and others new. We are always experimenting with the menu and we value the feedback from our clientele.

A lovely find in Brooklyn! Prem Thai has that cozy, authentic vibe the moment you walk in. We ordered the Minced Chicken Basil (so flavorful!), Seafood Pineapple Fried Rice (fresh and fragrant), and the crispy Fried Shrimp Cocktail — all were delicious and well-portioned. The Thai Iced Tea was perfectly balanced, not too sweet.

The space is warm and inviting, with a cute photo-worthy nook in the back. Service was attentive and kind. Great spot for a casual yet satisfying Thai meal. Will definitely return!

For drinks, I ordered a Virgin Piña Colada — perfect for someone like me who doesn’t drink alcohol but still wants something pretty in hand. It wasn’t overly sweet; the texture was smooth and slushy, topped with shredded coconut. Very tropical, and it paired beautifully with heavier, more flavorful dishes.

The menu was incredibly rich:

Southern Thai Fried Chicken
The crust was fried to an ultra-crispy perfection, while the meat inside stayed juicy and tender.

Grilled Pork Jowl
The pork jowl had a perfect balance of fat and lean meat, with a pleasantly bouncy bite. The green sauce on the side was refreshing — it cut through the richness while adding another layer of flavor.

Massaman Curry with Grilled Salmon
This curry leaned toward the rich and indulgent side, with a subtle sweetness and nutty aroma that gave it beautiful depth. Paired with white rice, it felt incredibly comforting. The salmon was cooked just right — moist and delicate.

Grilled River Prawn
This dish was definitely the visual star. The prawns were impressively large, with firm, naturally sweet flesh and a hint of smoky char. The vegetables and herbs alongside kept the dish vibrant and balanced.

Mango Coco Soufflé
The dessert took a lighter, fresher direction. The mango flavor tasted natural and fragrant, while the coconut was gentle and didn’t overpower. The texture was airy and soft, and the biscuit base underneath was wonderfully crisp with a rich buttery aroma.

Tried Prem Thai in Brooklyn and was genuinely impressed by every dish. The Duck Roti Wraps were crispy and flavorful, and the Pork Buns (their “piggy pork buns”) were incredibly soft and savory. The Prem Signature Tom Yum Seafood Hotpot had a beautifully balanced broth—creamy, aromatic, and perfectly spicy. The Pork Belly Prik Khing came with crispy pork, fresh herbs, and just the right kick, definitely a must-order. We ended with the Mango Mousse Cake, which was light, fruity, and the perfect finish.
For drinks, the Piña Colada was tropical and refreshing, while the Sex on the 5th had a smoky-sweet twist that really stood out. Overall, great flavors, great atmosphere—would absolutely come back!

Must-try Thai spot in Brooklyn!
The Duck & Crispy Pork Belly Khao Soy is easily the best I’ve had in NYC—the broth is incredibly rich and the pork belly is perfectly crunchy. Don’t sleep on the Corn Salad either; it’s so refreshing and the perfect spicy-sweet balance. 10/10 worth the trip!

Prem Thai was a great surprise! The drunken noodles were excellent — perfectly balanced in spice and sweetness. One of the best Northern Thai spots I’ve had in New York.

Cocktails and desserts were fantastic too. I’ll definitely be back!

Really enjoyed our lunch at Prem.

The place has a calm, elegant vibe.

We loved the Thai Pork Belly and the Fried Shrimp Cocktail, so good!
The Branzino in the Garden and the Prem Signature Tom Yum were full of flavor.

Our dessert choice was the Mango Coconut Soufflé, and the Piña Colada and Mango Mojito cocktails were great.

Definitely recommend if you’re looking for tasty, refined Thai food.

Ambiance of the restaurant is great; suitable group gatherings and date nights! The duck roti was super delicious; duck was super crispy and flavorful. Chicken satay was good with the peanut sauce. The best entree was the trio seafood pineapple fried rice!!! Super flavorful and umami especially with the side of fried shrimp and calamari! Street crab fried noodles were our second favorite! Love the thin wonton like noodles! Drunken noodles had a really nice kick for those that love spicy food!

All the drinks were good: thai tea, virgin pina and mango mojito!!

Such a great Thai spot in Brooklyn. We came for the Tom Yum Seafood Hotpot and it was incredibly comforting, perfectly sour and spicy with very fresh seafood. The Hot Sea seafood stir-fry was also a standout, super fragrant with great wok flavor and amazing with rice.

We also tried Fried Shrimp Cocktail and Thai Pork Belly. They were all crispy and well-seasoned. Cozy, beautiful space and very satisfying food overall. Would definitely come back, especially in the winter.

A true hidden gem Thai spot in BK — I didn’t expect much at first, but the food was amazing. The duck leg rice is a must-try: Thai-style roasted duck, cut thick, perfectly juicy, and not overcooked at all. The flavors are very authentic and really reminded me of street food in Thailand, and several dishes were so addictive, especially the Thai hot pot, which was incredibly good with rice. Definitely coming back again.
