I guess it’s just a common pattern of customers being blatantly ignored when standing in line here, because I waited for a couple of minutes right in front of the register and made direct eye contact with two employees who just quickly walked away instead. Bizarre. Ended up not ordering and going to Dutch instead.

After purchasing and finishing some coffee, I approached the counter for a free refill as advertised, 2 employees looked right at me, there was not anyone waiting for their drinks or anything, but I was still BLATANTLY IGNORED! I cant help but feel like the reason is that I appear to be ‘homeless’. Im not. I am a regular, cash paying customer of Starbucks, in many states…. never been treated this way otherwise. Sat 10/18/25 7:20 am. Ill spend my cash on gas station coffee before I visit this SB’s location again!!

Fortuna Starbucks is absolutely the worst one out of all of Humboldt. The music is so uncomfortably loud inside it feels like you’re in a night club. The staff is absolutely not friendly and just not a good atmosphere unfortunately. The 4 of us walked in and were never once smiled at, looked at, greeted or even treated like a customer while we looked at the menu to order. The music was so ridiculously loud we couldn’t hardly talk to each other so we just left and went to Shotz instead

I usually just got through drive thru. Always had good experiences except for one time when I had to come back because my drink didn’t taste right. They replaced it, no questions asked.

This is the worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to. The staff here act like taking your order is a personal inconvenience. The drinks are shoddily made too—today I barely got any ice in my drink. Go to any other Starbucks if you have the choice.

Just came in after my husband who ordered our drinks, I asked for the code to the bathroom, I was told it’s only for paying customers..Don’t assume, that I am not a paying customer, I turned and stated that we just ordered our drinks on line. Please do better..

This morning I visited Starbucks and had a disappointing experience. My order total was shown as a little over $10, but when I tapped to pay, I was charged more than what was displayed. I asked the cashier if she rang me up for someone else’s order, since the price didn’t match.
On top of that, I noticed I was not given the chance to select my own tip amount—the device was not handed to me to enter it myself. Then I overheard the manager say, “Oh, she doesn’t want to give a tip.” I found this very unprofessional.
A tip should always be my choice, not something added without my consent. Customers deserve transparency and respect, not to be made to feel uncomfortable over something like this.

Prime example why I choose to not get coffee from any location more and more. Leave your customers sitting in the drive thru line for five minutes without any acknowledgement? With nobody in front of us? Same with going inside. The employees are more focused on mobile orders than the people sitting in line. I’ll stick to the local shops from now on.
