Hands down the best salsa anywhere!
Cheese crisps with green chili strips are amazingly good! Burros, red chili plate, and just about everything is delicious!

Out for a Sunday drive from Tucson to ? And drove past LaCasita .My girlfriend noticed the full parking lot. Being quite hungry I made a U turn , returning to LaCasita. Due to the 3 dogs we had with us , my girl ran in and placed an order to go. Less than 10 min later she returned with two boxes of excellent mexican food . My only complaint was the salsa could have been hotter(I like hot). Really enjoyed the food and will stop there again.

I still absolutely love this restaurant. I don’t often get to eat out, but this place always makes it worth every penny. Great food and service. Damn good cup of coffee. I truly recommend the T-bone steak. Great seasoning and a well developed crust.

I took a mini road trip to the big metropolis of Mammoth Arizona just out of curiosity. After seeing the cemetery and the miners memorial I thought I would have a bite at La Casita. I’m a big burrito fanatic. I love burritos . I’m not much of a red meat eater so I decided on the chicken burrito. Though it was flavourful with only chicken and cheese and accompanied with some salsa I found it small by comparison to other places. No big deal. Overall the atmosphere was pleasant as was the staff and if I’m in the area again I will definitely try something different on the menu. Judging from what I saw on other people’s tables it looks great! ☺️

La Casita was a perfect place for lunch after a small, family gathering in Mammoth (for a funeral.) The service was great, the restaurant was very clean and well-lit, and the food was excellent.. home-cooked recipes at their best!!
I live in Tucson, but have stopped in to eat here many, many times over the years.. on my way to /from the White Mountains. It’s also been a favorite of my family members who have lived /worked in Mammoth and in Oracle. [You know it’s good when members of the Police, Fire, & Sheriff’s Depts. came in for lunch while we were there!!]
I would also highly recommend this restaurant to any travelers just passing through the area. Great location above the San Pedro River Valley.

This place is great! We’ll worth the drive from Tucson for Tortillas, pastries and ice cream. We didn’t eat at the restaurant, however I’m sure it’s wonderful.
