Met here with a friend for the first time. Ordered the 3 item Bento with salmon, tempura veggies, and California roll. My friend ordered one of their specialty rolls. Everything was delicious. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

This is my go to sushi place in Manteca. I tried the baked scallop roll on my last visit. And it was just okay, the lobster roll is my favorite. The staff is very friendly and the service is always good. The tempura shrimp are phenomenal.

Asked for cucumber wrapped sushi…. needless to say they charge $4 extra for this and even less sushi than standard rolls… They have no idea how to make cucumber rolls and don’t eat there unless you plan on paying for 2 dinners because you will have to go out after for a real dinner. ☹️ and we even showed them what they should look like. The miso soup was a joke also barely anything and no flavor. We will not be back cuz they told us they could do it and obviously they could not. Here is a place that we frequent and makes cucumber rolls normal size and only $1 upcharge…

I’ve been going here for a couple years now and I probably had the most uncomfortable experience yet with my sushi rolls being completely thinned out to where I could even pick it up with my chopsticks sushi is about presentation and the presentation today was poorly made. I won’t be going back here again.

Alright i have a bit of an edit. I went to dine and service is still decently good, however i feel like the rolls have gotten smaller and the quality doesnt hit the way it did a year ago. I felt slightly belittled by the service when i made a mistake on ordering a roll, but overall not a horrible experience. I think im gonna stick to mikasa over in lathrop though.
