Friendly service. Welcoming and served promptly. I tried the chicken teriyaki special with fried shrimp, it was tasty. Shrimp was nice and crispy/ crunchy. The building is a little on the worn side but it was clean and comfortable inside. I enjoyed my experience overall, I’d come again to try a burger next time.

This is the perfect little mom and pop joint! Very reasonable priced and delicious food. We had breakfast here before heading to Dodger Stadium. We talked to some regulars and they said that the teriyaki plates are amazing! I saw one plate go by me and couldn’t believe how yummy it looked. We’ll be back next time we’re in LA County. Thanks for a nice meal. Update next day… had to try the teriyaki plate. Wow! Yum… and a deal.

This place is a hidden gem in downey. Hamburger specials and teriyaki, pastrami are delicious! I also like the old school atmosphere of the old take out diner feel inside. If your in a hurry it’s best to order your food over the phone because you will have to wait a bit. Place gets pretty busy during lunch hours.

Really good food at a fair price. Bring cash because there’s a surcharge for credit cards. I got the chicken teriyaki bowl and it was really good! Teriyaki sauce was also the bomb! Friendly servers. Parking is difficult to get into. Very limited.

I came here cause my partner found it and raved about it. He bought me a club Sandwich the day he found it and it was really good. We just came today and had their cheeseburger and fries. Nothing in the burger was like mushy. Everything felt fresh and with a bite. My favorite part is that their fried zucchini is breaded in this light, yet crunchy breading. Only way I can describe it is almost like tempura. The zucchini itself is not mushy and wet. It feels like they’re not frozen but chopped and made in house. 10/10 for me. Very pleased

I used to love this place but after they change the owner it started to go bad. And I miss the owner who used to be there but now the new owners get expired stuff the other day the hamburger buns had mold then then the ketchup tasted all weird thankfully I wasn’t the only one in my family. It’s been a month or so that I haven’t got any food I loved the fries so much now I’m not going to be able to get some fries from there. The people working there should just look on the food they have. I actually miss the past owner and how it was called Jj’s. But other then that they should just look at the food it was so gross they had the burger buns mold and the ketchup tasted weird like expired but I eventually ate my fries with ketchup because I thought it was my ketchup
