Try and get anything two hours before they close, either it’s gonna be a 20 minute wait or they’ll say they’re out of it because they don’t want to cook it. I’d honestly just rather drive to Clovis and get something to eat than get food here and deal with the bullshit. Needless to say this’ll be my last time coming to this Popeyes.

I’ve been using online ordering for at least a year at the Cannon AFB Popeyes. Never once has my order not been ready when I arrived to pick it up using the drive thru. Staff are awesome as well, usually big smiles all around and friendly every time I show up. I’m a happy camper and really like the service and food.

Very disappointed in service. They close early ALL THE TIME or stay open and pretend no one is at the speaker. If it’s within the last hour of close they are “out” of anything they don’t want to cook. Lately it’s hard to get sauce or anything you ask for in addition to basic food. The regular chicken tenders are reliably not fully cooked the last couple tender meals. The last three times in a row I have gotten the wrong sides. The sides I have gotten lately look they have been in the warming drawer too long to eat. There is also a younger female employee who works evenings some and she is not representing this company well, she seems bothered to give any service very short speaking if she speaks to you at all. Also the closing early has been ongoing for months and I have mentioned it to the staff previously, who say the speaker must have been set to close at 6 while the store closes at 7 ???? Riiiight. I love Popeyes and I repeatedly give them the benefit of the doubt , they are one of the few restaurants on base, but seems very poorly ran/ operated .

We ordered food at 5:10 online, and when we arrived at the store they said they could not make our order because they closed at 6pm. There is no rule stating that you cannot make food past a certain time. It was pure laziness because they wanted to close early. They were selling cold tenders and whatever they had left because they didn’t want to make fresh food. Leaving cold, old food past a certain time window isn’t even allowed per food code. The manager refused to make our food. I’ve worked fast food, and you never turn down an order. Doesn’t matter if it’s 40 minutes to close or 2. Absolute laziness and poor worth ethic. Would not recommend coming here.

On Tuesday, I went here for lunch. I ordered a 5pc tenders meal. Service was great and everything but they told me to wait up front because they were making fresh ones I said OK then about three minutes later they come out with my food. I’ll get my food I’ll go back I’ll go back to work and then when I open up my box, I only have three tenders in my box when I paid for five piece tenders meal then on top of that, I wasn’t giving a receipt at all. Then today I show up here at 515 pm to get food for my family because we been out all day. I pull up and ask for three chicken sandwiches and a three piece signature chicken she goes on to say we only have one crispy and the rest of them blackened. I asked her how long would it take for you to make two extra crispy chicken sandwiches? She said well if I do make them by the time it’s done we’ll be closing. Honestly I don’t know why we have a Popeyes when they’re not even open for a full eight hours and can’t get the orders done or correctly.

Horrible customer service.. never once can get an order correct. Who ever is the hiring manager needs to fire themselves. The base needs to take a closer look on operations and bring in a franchise that actually wants to put good food out.

Service was great. But this is the second local Popeyes I’ve been to and it’s is horrible. How do you have bland fried chicken?!? Fries are old, biscuits are old. Mashed potatoes were tolerable. One in Clovis is even worse!

The CAFB Popeye’s is so much better than the one in town. The service is quicker and staff is more knowledgeable. You will get your food in less than 2 hours compared to the one in town. Highly recommend if you have base access.
