For those coming by car, parking can be a bit of a problem on weekends — the parking spots are limited and a bit tricky.
The only downside was the tiramisu — it was really bad. Way too sweet, and I have no idea what they put in it, but the taste was almost impossible to eat. It’s $10 here, but honestly, I’d say just add another $13 and get the 1.5 kg tiramisu from Costco instead. Much better deal.
And if you’re having brunch, coffee made by ELIF is the best! Her efficiency and friendly service is top notch too.
We came in on a weeknight and it was a bit slow but not dead. The service and environment is really good and prices are reasonable. Only thing I would recommend is too maybe add a few more items for the food menu. But overall a great experience and we would be back easily, Cheers!
TO THE POINT:
• The atmosphere was set nicely to serve dinner time, even enough to let you engage chitchat.
• The food took a little long but understandable during dinner time.
OVERALL: Great place. Hard street parking. Good vibes overall.
My team and I came for lunch yesterday, and it was fairly quiet. We tried two different pizzas, the chicken cutlet, a few appetizers, and desserts. Unfortunately, the dishes were a bit underwhelming overall. Portions were ok but the flavours didn’t quite stand out. Even small details ~ like serving Coke in a tiny glass packed with ice???
The service was fine but nothing particularly memorable, just an overall lack of energy?
If I may offer some friendly feedback: it could be worthwhile to visit Parlour for inspiration on pizza, and Dovetail for pasta — both have really refined their menus in those areas. I genuinely think with a few tweaks, this spot has the potential ..
