Absolutely amazing!! Our waitress was the best! She was so nice, she even sat down with us and helped me with my order. I knew what I wanted, kinda. I asked if she could make me a BBQ loaded Mashed potatoes. She did it!! And it was so yummy!! So I got that and my husband got a 3 piece chicken tender with a side of Pork Rinds!! What a cute idea I have never seen that before. Man they were nice and crunchy and very fresh. Got an order of fried pickles as well and I have to say they looked a little dark but they were perfect! The pulled pork was by far the best I’ve had at any restaurant around for a long while! They have a huge smoker out back which I will include a picture of and they know how to use it. The barbecue sauce was very good and not as sweet as some which made me like it even more. There was an adorable play land. Got a few pictures of it as well. The setup inside is very “classic” diner put me in mind of an old malt bar even ( though I don’t even think they sell those). We didn’t even have a wait time but if we did maybe 10 minutes. Food was hot and yummy it was not sitting around under lights all day. If you are around while they are open be sure to come in! You will not be disappointed!! 10/10 in every area! The bathrooms are located outside and they are very, very clean. A side note there is a pad and tampon machine in the woman’s bathroom although it was out of stock while I was there. There is also a baby changing station in there (in the woman’s restroom).

I love the setting of this wonderful restaurant. It has an old time gargage feel and the food is definitely worth stopping for. From the gift area to the game room it has something for everyone.
If you’re looking for BBQ Ribs I’d suggest calling ahead to see if they have any left because they’re a very popular menu item.
The rest of the menu has something for virtually everyone.

We had tried this place when they first opened the first time, and it was good, but service wasn’t up to par.
I went in to do some work there last week and noticed how much it had improved.
My wife and I went in on Friday afternoon and had lunch. It was absolutely outstanding! The place is spotless in the front and the kitchen area. The service was unsurpassed, the food was amazing.
My wife and I don’t eat out very much due to poor quality food at other places and we always leave them feeling like crap. That was not the case at SteelWheel. The food was top quality and fresh.
I have no problem at all with my experience! Will go.back as much as I can.

I saw pulled pork on the menu board and asked for a BBQ sandwich with slaw onion rings and coke My beautiful bride had cheeseburger potato salad and water. All were great as was the atmosphere, like a 50’s vibe, I was waiting for Fonzie to pull in and smack the jukebox.Winter hours Fro-Sat-Sum 11-9 only. We’ll be back

Great little diner! Service was great even though they got swamped. Food was all correct and very good. My husband got the loaded baked potato. It was a good size portion. My friends each got burgers and loved them. I did the salad bar and was impressed for such a small restaurant. Very nice decor. Bathrooms were very clean as was the whole restaurant. If we are ever back that way we will be stopping again!

Such an unique retro Diner. Our waitress was a riot! We loved her! The owner is a great person to talk to. My burger was made with percent love and care and you can taste it! Be sure to get the hand-cut fries! Also tried the chicken tenders. Delicious! Only open on the weekends!

First time here and the food was spectacular. We started with the pretzel bites and beer cheese. Seriously, the best I’ve ever had! The cheeseburgers were amazing. Very cute atmosphere. Highly recommend and I’ll be back very soon!

My husband and I saw the restaurant on Facebook and decided to give it a try! Best decision ever. The food was wonderful, and the service was fantastic! The fried pickles and pretzel bites were phenomenal! The owners, James and Tonya, are wonderful people; we thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

The food was well prepared, fresh, made to order and tasted great! We arrived on a Sunday around 12:30 and left at 2:30. The place is quite popular! The parking lot was packed, and there was a short wait to sit down . It was well staffed, and all servers were kind, communicative about the wait, and apologetic for the delay. While we were waiting they brought us a free milkshake, and were super prompt with refills. They thanked us several times for our patience. I’ve never waited for my food that long anywhere and felt so good about it! I also could see that they were all working very hard, and it was just a high volume afternoon. Everyone was definitely hustling to do their best. I’m impressed they were able to handle the volume of people with such love and grace amidst such a busy lunch hour.
Bathrooms were clean, the interior was new and stylish, and it was nicely decorated. There is a great little playground out back.
One picture is definitely a photo edit, we had to entertain ourselves doing SOMETHING while we waited . They definitely specify “no pets allowed.”
I’d absolutely recommend this diner even with the extended wait. I’m sure there are parts of the week where you’ll be more quickly served.
They’re doing a fabulous job, and especially for this area, they’re running a professional and friendly high quality eatery with higher standards than the majority of Delano food spots. They also have consistent hours, and are open every day!
