I made my 3rd visit to Dontae’s today and once again left loving this pizza. The ingredients are fresh and his crust is exceptional! The Funky chicken is one of THE best I have ever had and his candied jalapenos are what pushes it over the top!

It was our first time since we are fairly new to this area in Darmstadt. They had a first time coupon. They helped me download the app very informative and courteous! We went outside and waited in the car,while it was getting ready. Dante brought it to the car for us. Ended up being a very pleasant experience. The pizza was fabulous.Great cheese ,crust ,ingredients were just right ! The sauce and cheese were superb we will be back.Thats all that was left yummy

We went for a birthday celebration and could have been quite overwhelming for how many people we brought in, but Dontae took it all in stride (even having someone call in) and was very gracious. The food was delicious. Will be back again!

The food is the shining star here. Dontae is a very talented chef who really understands flavor profiles. All I ordered was very very good. Greek salad was one of the best I’ve ever had. Great selection of Bliss ice cream. Service was top-notch. The owner Dontae is very friendly and hard-working. Will be back!

Dontae’s was our first meal as we moved to the Highland area and has quickly become our favorite. The Wind specialty pizza is our go-to for family nights! We anticipate trying every sandwich on the menu, but are obsessed with the crispy thin pizza crust. Always fresh, quality ingredients and friendly staff. Dining area is casual and love the arcade game offerings.

This is a great locally owned and operated pizza place. The staff here are outstanding with great fast service. Dantae has put together a great business with some delicious pizza and ice cream. The restaurant is very clean and well kept. They have some fun kids games in the back. It is really easy to find using Google Maps with ample parking in front and rear of restaurant.

Pizza Buffet- went In on a weekday afternoon, so I was able to catch the unique Pizza buffet offered. Good choice for those wanting to play on the many arcade options and get a slice in between games. Any style you name it and they will get it going for you to try .
Sorbet- have to brag about that strawberry sorbet. Many flavors offered an many of them very unique, not your typical ice cream varieties

I had never ate here before, despite living on the same side of town. My brother in law brought over some pizza he had left. I loved it! I am not a huge fan of thin crusts even though its the style here in Evansville but I think I finally found a crust I love. The food was so good, infact I went and ordered a pizza afterwards. I definitely want to try more menu items next time.

Another first for us. We ordered a carryout pizza with everything on it extra pizza sauce (my husband called and ordered it lol) and breadsticks with cheese sauce. Let me tell you, the pizza was absolutely delicious, the breadsticks were amazing, and the cheese sauce was so good!!! My ONLY complaint is that the pizza toppings were sparse. I ate 2 squares and probably ate 1 piece of sausage. I counted about 10 banana peppers and it was a large. For pizza and breadsticks it was $33. I know we’re in a very bad place with the economy, but when I can count out banana peppers, you need to rethink your plan. However, again, it was very, very good. Sauce is perfectly seasoned and zesty! Breadsticks were covered in garlic butter and herbs. I just wish they didn’t skimp on the toppings or they would have been a 5☆ for sure! Just in case you get one, it’s the cracker thin crust. Dontae, you have a wonderful pizza, but you shouldn’t skimp.

This was our first time trying Dontae’s and we really enjoyed it! We got the Pizza and Breadsticks special and a specialty pizza “The Wind”. Everything was delicious. There are a lot of options for pizza in Evansville, but we will be back. It’s worth checking this place out if you haven’t.
