I have been to this place 3 times. Whenever I come here and place my order in Spanish to the server they quickly ask me if I know Spanish. My Spanish is not the best since my parents were educated enough to raise me in Illinois. Whenever I come to this place I hope they don’t make fun of my “spanglish’ but their “waiters” do. I’m done with this place. Don’t be fooled, their food is out of cans anyone including white people can make this food, probably even better. These sarcastic people like to hate on Hispanics that advanced more than they did. Don’t blame me, blame your ignorant, uneducated parents. God bless. ✝️

Great place. Everything you could ask of a mom-n-pop Mexican restaurant: chips and salsa, friendly service, delicious food quickly served, amazing prices. Lunch for under $10 each and dinners for under $13. Would come again 🙂

I should have known better. Mexican cuisine in Central Illinois? Not a good idea apparently. Was with a small group, not my pick of places.
Service was efficient, not particularly warm or welcoming. I ordered a beer, which was fine, but everyone who ordered a Margarita mentioned that there was no discernable tequila flavor.
Food was…bland.
Am I spoiled living in Chicago? Probably a little, but even “down & dirty” neighborhood taco/burrito places do a better job than this.

Overall solid place. I got the vegetarian fajita quesadilla and it was amazing. Classic small town Mexican vibe. I appreciated that there was a vegetarian menu at all and I have no notes. Best horchata I’ve had in a while and it was served in a huge frost mug.
