We went as a group of five and ordered a variety of items. The food was surprisingly served quickly, and the staff were attentive and friendly. The food offers good value for the money. The place has plenty of seating and it has a nice bar, all in all it was comfortable experience.

I had the street tacos and they were delicious! Also the added sides of rice and beans were perfect in taste. Chips and salsa were good.
They loose stars for price, it cost a lot for three tacos, rice and beans, drink plus tip, like $30.
The waiter was very nice, he had hurt his foot and had a brace on. Others, greeter and woman in back, were not very friendly at all, unlike he was, and did not seem to want to help my waiter in his position, so that lowers service and atmosophere.

Atmosphere perfect. Service was great and good tex-mex food. Chimichangas were a little over fried, but some like it that way. Soft beef taco was very good, and ground beef was seasoned well. Margaritas were just OK, missing a little something, just couldn’t put my finger on what it was.

Las Mesas Mexican Grill is the place to eat in Chelsea, AL! If you’re hungry, go enjoy the atmosphere and food and if you’re not hungry than just come and enjoy the atmosphere because it’s that good! The lunch Shrimp Fajitas are great, but I wish there were a few more shrimp amongst the grilled veggies. Also, I am not sure why it didn’t come with beans. Maybe the lunch Shrimp Fajitas just comes with rice. Overall we enjoyed our food and we were completely taken back by the atmosphere and decore! Las Mesas Mexican Cantina thank you for a great lunch!

Where to begin? The first impression when we walked in was how well decorated the place was. The feel and atmosphere were reminiscent of walking back in the streets of Mexico. The second thing I noticed was how well organized and professional the staff appeared to be as the worked diligently to serve the customers and provide them with the best personalized experience possible. I have to give credit to my true amigo Roberto who was a main reason that I came into this new place. He has become more than just a kind face, but someone I consider my friend. Our order was taken with great diligence and our meal was brought out hot and ready to enjoy in no time. Everything we ordered was delicious and the staff continued to check on us as we enjoyed our meal. I found the menu to be vast and the prices relatively low compared to the amount of food that is brought out. Long story short this is a great new establishment that will be sure to offer something different for everyone. I can not say enough about this place, the staff and most importantly Roberto. I am assured that whomever waits on you they will take the best care of you and you will leave completely satisfied with the food and service they provide.

I have has a few items at this location-all were delicious. The best was the #31 La Papa Loca-Giant Baked Potato with steak, grilled chicken, sour cream, grilled onions, bell peppers, and melted cheese. OH MY! It was delicious! The only thing I wouldn’t recommend is the salsa-it’s a little pasty and has a good bit of zap to it.

The restaurant is very pretty and we were seated immediately about 11:30 on a Sunday. They brought our chips and salsa. Salsa wasn’t very good. Too thin not very flavorful. Chips were typical. Ordered cheese dip and it had sat there 5 minutes and already getting a coating over the top. Not good. My fajita chicken quesadilla was not good. Had same stiff thick cheese dip on top. Found grissle in chicken. Not much flavor here either. Won’t go back. I don’t know where these other reviews came from?
