Value and variety are 5/5. Nothing gourmet here, just cheap food that will help you get full. Portions are generous, but the quality of the food and the cook are mediocre. It’s basically diner food.
Extremely busy, so expect to wait 20mins or so to get your food. Parking lot was completely full, so if you come at a bad time, there won’t be any spots.
All three burgers I tried were overcooked to death, and under seasoned. They also reuse a lot of the same oil, so bad taste and cross contamination everywhere.
Terrible rice and gravy on their loco moco as well, probably the rouses/american brand of rice, when it should be long grain, and the gravy was supposed to be an onion gravy, but theirs tasted like regular brown gravy.
Fried Mac and cheese and the French fries were all terrible. Chicken tenders were hearty, dense, but hard fried and not as juicy and flavorful. But the combo was 7$+ for 3 tenders and a gigantic plate of fries.
If you have low expectations, then this place will be great, because the food is cheap and filling.

Finally!!! A place where you can get an awesome hamburger that smokes any fast food place, not only in flavor but in price as well.
It’s very hard to find quality and value at the same time.
The burgers are huge, generous portions, and a lot of other awesome dishes as well.
A little off the beaten path, but well worth it.
Skip the drive thru’s and give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Oh my goodness. Heard more about this place on social media, not realizing I’d stumbled upon it while making a turn. The burgers were big, thick and delicious. The fried onion strings were freshly made and delicious. We will be back.

This was our first time here. Y’all were recommended by some coworkers. Loved the atmosphere as soon as we walked in. The staff were excellent and you can tell they take pride in their establishment. Now on to the food. Wow. Delicious, amazing… Bottom line Blown away. What sets their burgers apart from others is it is a 1/2lb after cooking. My wife had the Grilled chicken Poboy. She said it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Myself and sons had the Super Burger, Chili cheese Burger and Mushroom Burger. All perfectly cooked and seasoned. We tried a variety of sides and they didn’t disappoint. We had Onion Strings, Corn Fritters, Fried Pickles, and Fried Mushrooms. All were very good. We will definitely be long time customers.

Omg omg their food is so good!! I am a young girl and I have been there like 8 times with my grandparents! I did an online order today, and guess what?? My order came 15 minutes early! Their workers are so nice, and they even gave me m and m’s! Don’t judge the place by its looks! The food is phenomenal!!

[Insert huge sigh here]. I will start off by saying, I’m not sure how this place passes health inspections. The outside of the building looks nice, the inside could use a deep cleaning. Every piece of kitchen equipment I could see from the front counter was disgusting. I highlighted just one of the photos. The prep time for the burger was average. I did notice the establishment is frequented by groups of males on lunch breaks. My meal came out on a flimsy paper plate on a red tray. The tray was dirty and greasy, like it was already used by another customer and not cleaned. The table had seasonings and ketchup. The only clean item was the ketchup. The pepper shaker was disgusting. The Cajun Seasonings was clumpy and would not come out of the container. The burger patty was not even warm enough to melt the cheese. For the sake of the review, I tasted the burger and onion tanglers. The burger was ok, but barely warm. The onion tanglers were surprisingly good. The restaurant has a small town diner feel.

Riverside Patty is a hidden treasure in Baton Rouge! The service was fast and friendly, and the portions were incredibly generous. I had a bacon cheeseburger and fries—both were absolutely delicious. The prices are some of the best I’ve seen for the taste and amount of food you get. I’ll definitely keep coming back!

To get there, take the last light before you hit 61 from siegen, or the first light after you’ve hit siegen from 61. Take a turn to the side with the mexican strip. It’s a little tucked away! You get there and it has ample parking with a very plain face. I came in around 2:15 on a monday. So they were pretty quiet and spooling it up for close. It’s clearly an old place but there’s a lotta history there. The people running it seem like good folk and I imagine it’s hard to have a bad interaction here.
So I ordered some hamburgers, fries, and a patty melt. Got my ticket, n had a seat. At the counter is a big deal of hand sanitizer. At each table is a big roll of paper towels. Which is great because you’ll need them. The menu is easy to read and options are priced fairly. Their menu hits a good balance of burgers, strips, seafood, and sides. I didn’t get drinks but they have soda and non carbonated offers. Waiting, I saw a table’s order come through. It looked super proper. Some really beautiful burgs and tater tots. Damn they looked good.
I got my food in about 20 minutes. I appreciated that it was all labeled. Everything looked good at the house. Burgers are big. Fries are big. The Patty Melt looks really fantastic. I had my Double Hamburger and it was good. Just a lot of food there! Bread is good, meat’s tasty, and the toppings are fresh. I’m not crazy over the fries. One of mine was ice cold and mushy. I ran them through my air fryer and they came out fine. I could ask them to double fry it in the future.
Overall it’s good food at a great price. Great portions for your moneys. But I’m not crazy about old interiors. Maybe older folks will appreciate it, but I do not. You can scour it clean everyday, but it’ll never lookit. But that’s really my only knock. I enjoyed my food and they have some really interesting options to choose from. Definitely worth your time and money.
