A one-of-a-kind themed bar! The drinks and food were amazing too, so this place isn’t popular just because of its atmosphere. The red chili cheese fries were some of the best I’ve ever had!

I’ve been here twice now, always in the afternoon so I’m not sure how they get down at night. I love the decor, I always have to go around taking pictures like an obnoxious tourist. First time I came here I got the sliders, which they seem to have taken off the menu, so this time I got the Philly cheesesteak. So good! I’ll have to get the Mac next time!

Atmosphere was definitely eclectic. It was very clean and the food was fantastic. Toys and drinks. Also good options staff was friendly. They came out fairly quickly with the portions. Bathrooms were a bit odd. Plenty of seating for the outside. It was a fairly large place with definitely seating for large groups. Even though it wasn’t my style it is a great place to check out. The truffle fries and fried pickles were both great choices. We had their apple cider. Also which game called and was great.

Ordered food for takeout, we ordered the Black & Bleu burger and hickory burger with sweet potato fries, we also ordered the Mac & Cheese with garlic bread and for dessert their churro and ice cream. The food was delicious, burgers were cooked just right and looks to be a popular place, nice location and pleasant atmosphere inside. Will have to come and actually sit down and eat and have a drink the next time. Overall good experience and will definitely try this place again, nice that it’s only down the street from where I have an apartment. If you’re in the neighborhood and looking for something different this place is it.

A cool funky bar with a chill vibe! They had gluten free options! Cauliflower crust pizza was wonderful. James, our server, was fantastic! Definitely will be coming back

Bar Nun has quickly become my local spot. Hole in the wall atmosphere, solid food for a bar. Especially the pizza. Adriana is the best behind the bar when i get an after work beer, but the whole staff is really welcoming and fun. Would recommend anyone come check it out!

My fiancé and I recently moved to the cap hill area and have been here the last few nights. It is the type of bar where the bartenders/locals hang out. The one particular bartender (short guy with a hat) I think is named kasey/casey has been so welcoming to us. It is one of the main reasons we will tell all of our friends about the place and will continue to come back. Kudos to him and the rest of the staff for knowing how to make a locals spot welcoming.

James and Josiah were so welcoming at the door had my drink on the fly dirty martini. And yes, I cannot forget the taco pizza was the best! Thank you, James for your recommendation. I will definitely recommend this place to anybody.

Service was so bad. Sure it was Saturday and it was crowded which I would expect, but the bartenders would just ignore people. While I was standing there the bartenders poured and took a shot together. They got a drink before I did. The pickle shots tasted like pickle juice we all wondered if there was any alcohol in them. Other than the aesthetic I don’t get what this place has going for it. Didn’t try the food so maybe that’s good? I’ll never know since I won’t be back.
