To start, we ordered the chicken tenders (their version of chicken cutlets), which were very good, crispy, flavorful, and served with a dipping sauce of our choice. We went with buffalo, but the buffalo sauce was watery and didn’t hold up well.
The fries were another highlight, crispy, well-seasoned, and very enjoyable. We added American cheese dip for an extra charge, and it was worth it. The cheese sauce was smooth and paired perfectly with the fries.
The cheesesteak, however, was underwhelming. The cashier had hyped it up, but the portion of steak didn’t even fill the roll, and the cheese was extremely runny, leaking out of the sandwich and making it a mess to eat. My son ended up not enjoying it, which was disappointing.
On the brighter side, I ordered the Respect Your Father sandwich, chicken cutlet with broccoli rabe, roasted peppers, long hots, and provolone on a toasted seeded roll. This was outstanding. The long hots brought just the right amount of heat, and the flavors worked beautifully together. Easily the best item we tried.
We also ordered the Hot Honey Pepperoni pizza, which had good flavor but came out overly oily. The “drizzle” of hot honey was more of a heavy pour, which overpowered the pizza. It’s worth trying, but I’d recommend asking them to go light on the hot honey.
A few other things to note: there’s no fountain drink machine. We usually just order water when dining in, but bottled water was the only option, and at $3 each, for four people, that added $12 to our bill just for water. Something to keep in mind if you’re eating there. Also, the dining area is extremely tight. Our party of four struggled to fit comfortably, so we wouldn’t recommend dining in, takeout is definitely the better option.
Overall, this was a solid but uneven experience. The chicken cutlet sandwiches seem to be the star here, and we’d definitely come back to try more of those. The fries are also worth ordering. On the flip side, we would skip the cheesesteak and probably stick to takeout next time. With so many options in the area, this wouldn’t be our first choice, but it’s worth checking out if you’re in the mood for a good chicken cutlet sandwich.
Those chicken tenders, never had breading like that before, SO MUCH FLAVOR! Paired with homemade buffalo, muah!
Go here, come hungry, leave happy and full!!
I had the Chicken Parmesan sandwich, and was not able to finish it. My son, who is normally a bottomless pit of a 14 year old, struggle to finished his whole Vodka cutlet sandwich. both sandwiches has great flavors in their sauce and the cheese was super
Great choice for a quick lunch
The pizza is amazing — great crust, fresh toppings, and a lot of solid options whether you keep it classic or try one of their specialty pies. Everything tastes fresh and made with care, not rushed or thrown together.
The sandwiches are no joke either. Cheesesteaks are loaded and flavorful, cutlets and meatballs are always on point, and portions are generous. You can tell they use quality ingredients.
They have delicious French fries and Buffalo wings as well.
Staff is friendly, service is quick, and the place has a great neighborhood vibe. No hype, no nonsense — just really good food done right. Easy recommendation and definitely worth going back again!
