This was my first time at Taqueria Tacos A La Parrilla, and I’m so glad I found this place! I was on the Evergreen east side of San Jose and was seriously craving a good burrito. I Googled nearby spots, and this one was highly recommended—and wow, they were right.
I ordered a carne asada burrito with chips and guacamole on the side. Even though I placed my order about 10 minutes before closing, the gentleman there was incredibly kind and still made my burrito fresh for pickup. That alone says a lot about their customer service.
The burrito was amazing—so flavorful, delicious, and satisfying. Every bite was packed with great taste. The chips and guacamole were also on point. I left very happy and very full!
Great food, great service, and a great experience overall. I will definitely be coming back. So glad I discovered this spot!

I ordered Nachos con Al Pastor during my lunch break. The carne was saucy and flavorful and was cut into good size pieces. There was shredded cheese as well as cheese sauce. It had crema, pickled jalapeños, pico de gallo and guacamole (I chose guacamole separate in a small cup). The chips tasted like they were made in-house or at least just very fresh and warm. The ratio for chips to meat was very GENEROUS. The plate was HUGE!! I MEAN ENORMOUS! I also ordered a Jarritos Manderin. There is other flavors of Jarritos plus soda and beer too. Good service! Plenty of seating! Easy parking! Edit: I’ve also previously had carne asada tacos and burritos which were good too

I ordered 3 different burritos which are beef, chicken and pork, and a box of nachos with meat and cheese. So yummy! We were given 2 different spicy sauce, dark sauce is mild while the green one is extremely hot. I love how they put avocado slices into the burrito instead the smashed one, somehow avocado eating that way is more tasteful. Definitely recommend!

A fast casual Mexican place. There aren’t too many of them in the Evergreen San Jose area. Glad to have this option. It’s taken a couple visits, but after sampling more of the menu, we are liking it. We expect to come back more often.
My main issue may be that the place isn’t as well ventilated as it could be.

Had al pastor Tacos. Taste was overall good. Its located in the same plaza as Mountain Mikes Pizza , just facing Aborn rd and not Capitol Expressway. Decent mexican food options, Also serve Michelada’s.

Really great flavors here. I was quite surprised to find this little gem. The chili verde is one of the best I’ve ever had. Family owned store with minimal staff so be prepared to wait. It’s well worth it though.

The first two times I called, no one answered. I understand they might have been busy, but they never called me back.
After a few hours, I called again and someone finally picked up. I asked about catering, and they said they would call me later. But I never heard back.
I gave it one last try and called again. This time, the person sounded very uninterested and didn’t answer basic questions about catering packages, tray sizes, or if they could even accommodate my requested date.

Hands down THE BEST TACOS IN SAN JO. You don’t know what your missing. If you like the tacos in Mexico like I do, these are the closest thing to them. I HIGHLY recommend the SUPER TACOS DE ASADA. They have a soft tortilla on the outside and a crunchy one on the inside..HELLA BOMB. (I didn’t get a chance to take a picture of the tacos, I was hella hungry and couldn’t wait but I will next time I go… or you can go try them yourself).
