A true hidden gem! Kohindor Dhaba serves some of the best Indian cuisine I’ve had in a long time. The food is incredibly flavorful, freshly made, and offered at a very reasonable price. From the first bite, you can tell they care about authenticity and taste.
We dropped by during lunchtime and were pleasantly surprised to find it not crowded, which made for a peaceful and enjoyable dining experience. The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming–perfect for a casual lunch or dinner.
Parking is limited, but it’s free, which is a nice bonus. Definitely worth the visit if you’re craving tasty Indian food without the big crowds. Highly recommend!

Food was really tasty. I ordered goat biryani. The serving size was good for one person. However, they added gratuity to the bill without any sign of mandated gratuity displayed anywhere on the restaurant. That’s why I removed 2 stars.

Very nice and authentic Indian restaurant. The outside doesn’t match the inside which is very well designed with quality dishwater. Drinks were spot on and the lamb saag was ever tender and well seasoned. The star for me was the fried bread. A keeper in my phone!

Location very close to airport hotels and car rentals. Few vegetarian options, but flavorful and satisfying. Spicy is tame, naan is decent. I wish they had more drink options without sugar overload or caffeine. A good lemonade would do the trick. Recommended.

This is the best Indian food I’ve had in a very long time. It is actually as good as the best Indian food I’ve ever had. The Aloo Gobi knocked my socks off! Really delicious chicken tikka masala and samosas as well. The first delivery driver didn’t show up and they called to let us know another was coming and would be a little later than expected. I definitely recommend you try it!

this place is a hit’n miss. We have stopped here sometimes during breakfast time and the fresh parathas are good and other times we and our stomachs have been “less happy”. The tea is good and will definitely keep you awake for the rest of your drive. Peace!

We ordered from here following a recommendation but were very disappointed. It’s tough to find good Indian food in the DMV but much of what we ordered was pretty much inedible as it was submerged in a sea of oil. We salvaged what we could from it but the majority went in the trash. There is another restaurant with a similar name in courthouse area which is far better (one of only two Indian restaurants in the DMV that we will order from).

During our visit, the restaurant was not crowded, with only a few people present. We ordered other dishes including chicken soup, which unfortunately took a rather long time, approximately 30-40 minutes, to arrive at our table. While the server was polite and the establishment appeared clean, I must admit that the soup did not meet my expectations. I found it to be lacking in taste and quality.
Moreover, I personally felt that the food at Kohinoor Dhaba did not truly embody the authentic flavors of Indian cuisine. The dishes, including the biryani we ordered for takeout, did not live up to the standards I would expect from traditional Indian cuisine.
Despite these observations, I would like to emphasize that the service at Kohinoor Dhaba was commendable, with polite and attentive staff member. The cleanliness of the restaurant also deserves recognition.

After ordering over 20 times, this place has become a favorite comfort food of mine. I always get the lamb roganjosh – it is flavorful and filling (and even better the second day if you have leftovers). I’ve even gotten a few of my friends hooked on this place and they love it, too!
The crew inside is always patient and helpful. They package each order very securely to make sure nothing drips and they put cardboard in between dishes so the hot stuff doesn’t warm up colder dishes. Every single order has been correct and they are very kind on the phone if you have questions about the menu or your order. Thank you Kohinoor Dhaba!
