Intimate, family-run kitchen doling out hearty Italian staples, including housemade pasta & risotto.

A must stop is Old Forge, PA
Recommend bring an appetite as the portion sizes feed an army.
Would highly recommend the risotto.
I had the shrimp risotto and my wife had the Carbonara.
Consider calling for reservation as crowds vary, but our wait times have never been long. Off street parking available.

I’ve been visiting Cafe’ Rinaldi with my family for quite some time now, and it used to be one of our favorite spots. We would often come to enjoy the gnocchis and risotto, which were always delicious and a big reason we kept coming back.
Unfortunately, over the last few visits, we’ve noticed that the food quality has declined, which has been disappointing considering how much we used to love it. That said, the service has always been great, and we never have to wait long for our food, which we truly appreciate.
On our most recent visit, I made a reservation more than a week in advance and requested a specific table that my family and I usually sit at. When I made the reservation, the woman on the phone mentioned the table request could not be guaranteed which I found odd due to the fact this was a Reservation. Sadly it was not honored when we arrived. This has never been an issue in the past when we requested that same table, so it was definitely disappointing. As far as food, gnocchis were mushy, salmon way over cooked, side salad was bagged lettuce/carrot/cabbage mix (very small amount), and haddock zero flavor and water- logged.
Because of these recent experiences, unfortunately, I don’t think we’ll be returning for some time. I hope things improve in the future, as this was once a place we truly enjoyed visiting regularly

We got a tasty pizza that was a nice experience, and spaghetti with meatballs that it was way too spicy when our order was just marinated sauce. I didn’t even eat it. The service was too fast (in the good way), and friendly and our overall experience was pleasant.

I wanted some dinner while away for work and found this spot. When I arrived I parked in the private lot. I walked in and sat at the bar. Joey was my bartender/server, and he was great! I ordered the vodka martini, and it was very good. For my meal, I got the shrimp with crab special. It also came with chicken and rice soup, and that was delicious. The shrimp dish was ok. I just needed some additional salt. The bill was affordable, and I had a good experience.

The pizza was absolutely beautiful, boasting a light, crispy crust. Somehow, though, the flavor seemed a bit mild. The service was above average. No Coke or Pepsi, so I opted for a 7UP with my meal. I highly recommend the fries, as they tasted and looked homemade. A really good-looking restaurant.

Tough not giving this place 5 stars because the food was really good. If you want really good Italian food then this is a good place to go, however you need to be prepared for a few things 1. Not that big of a deal for me, but the wine list is lacking. Cavit, Woodbridge… I don’t remember the rest but they were all bottom of the shelf. 2. This one really threw me over the edge, to the point where I really don’t think I’ll go back. Most items on the menu are around $20. They had a lobster special for the night, it was our anniversary so I wasn’t really worried about the price, I figured as long as it’s good paying MKT price (which I thought would be south of $50) wouldn’t be that big of a deal. When I got the bill the lobster was $80! And it wasn’t a whole lobster, just the tail. Now I realize that spiny lobsters don’t have claws but for $80 I’d at least expect a cold water lobster. and because my wife wanted gnocchi it was and extra $10. So I spent $90 on lobster tail and pasta. I just felt price gouged. I’m not here to trash the place. It’s been around forever, they have a good product, but $80 for a lobster tail is overstepping.

You Need To Know? Arrived at 530 on a Friday night with reservations. Service was rapid & extremely pleasant. Ordered the chicken & cheese risotto balls, a tray of Old Forge style pizza half meatballs, & manicotti. The risotto balls were absolutely delicious. Wish they would have given more. The manicotti had an amazing red sauce & they gave you 4 of them & was very filling. There pizza was airy & light with a crispy crunchy crust! Very tasty & no need to order Xtra cheese as it is loaded with it. This place is a must eat! Now You Know! -TBH

How this place has a 4.5 star rating is beyond me, maybe I’m missing something. Our food was average at best. Pizza was terrible and burnt.

Food was excellent, pace of dinner was perfect. Server Sydney was outstanding. She was friendly and very efficient. The only thing I wish restaurants would do is when they read you their specials, they never include the prices. If it’s a special you would think that means a special price. And to me that means a lower price.

One of the best Italian restaurants you’ll ever go to.!!! we have reservations for a party of 12 for my wife’s birthday party. All our food was amazing Everybody raved about it. And if you ever had to try to make 12 different people happy you understand what I’m saying !! The atmosphere is all Italian low lighting very quaint.
The reason I gave four stars and Service was they were busy and there was only one waitress handling most of the tables !! Which she did an amazing!!!!!!!! job but with our size party would’ve been nice if she had help !! as she couldn’t get around to us as much as we would’ve liked, but that being said the 2 bartenders made amazing drink drinks. They all work very good as a team there people bring stuff out from the back.and clean up our plates!
