Surprisingly Good. Haven’t been here since Pre-Covid and thought they were permanently closed. Was passing by and saw they were open so we went in for a quick bite. Only ordered chicken strips, fries Chill & Wings. Everything was hot n tasty although the crock of chill could have been hotter. Also the crock of chili was a bit on the small portion size considering the cost difference vs a cup. The wings were big and sold by the pound. I got 7 nice sized wings that came out nice and crispy as requested. Happy I rediscovered the Halfway House and will be back.

Stopped in for quick bite for mother daughter visitation. Our server was outstanding! My granddaughter adored her and she seemed to be having fun interacting. Good food, great service and decent prices. You won’t be disappointed.

Picked up some bone in mild wings, very fresh and good. Also an order of boneless mild wings, they were good as well. Got some fries, they were the crinkle cut which are my favorite. Overall good place to grab wings and fries and I’ll have to try some other things soon!

We come here at least twice a month. Their food is always delicious and not overly priced. All of the women working the bar and dining area are wonderful fun people. We love Halfway House!

We ended up here almost as a consolation, I was taking my Mom out for a long waited Mother’s Day celebration. But the restaurant we planned on going to “didn’t take reservations” and when we arrived they had a 90 minute wait. So after doing a search we found very few restaurants in the area are closed during the week!! But the Halfway House was open, we drove over and was pleasantly surprised by calm quiet atmosphere. We both enjoyed the steak tips in a burgundy sauce. I would recommend them to anyone. Service was GREAT!! Thank you for saving our evening!!!

Saw this place by accident while vacationing in the pocono’s. Building is older, guessing 50+ years old but decided to give it a try. Lots of specials on menu for dinner. Food was good waitresses were friendly and attentive. My daughters dinner had to be remade which they did quickly and apologized repeatedly for the mistake.

This has been my families favorite go to place to eat for many years. Their French onion soup is the best you will ever have and its safe to say in the hundreds of rimes we have been here we have never had a bad meal.

On 6/20/2023 this was a disaster. and will soon be out of business if it doesn’t improve.
I saw two tables, about 10 people total, left without getting their food. They were waiting 2 hours, and no food arrived! My food was not good either. mine arrived in about 1 hour.

So glad the original owners are back. After they left it was a literal $h!t show, so bad. The food is amazing here, best Buffalo wings around, hands down!
