I’ve been coming here on and off since moving to Vermont. Recently, after new staff were hired, the service has gone downhill. The employees are rude and unprofessional. There’s no point in ordering online if you arrive as instructed by the app only to find out they haven’t even started your order and then make you wait as if you’re standing in line all over again. I will be taking my business to another location after this experience.

Subs and wraps are great, the order to pick up service is good. I like when they grab your chips for you for pick-up orders, helpful so you don’t forget when in a rush. One tip would be to keep an eye on your fountain flavors – the lemonade was pure water today with zero flavor syrup.

Thank god they have good staff! today I watched them help a man in a wheelchair pay and get his food to his table and they checked in on him to see of he needed anything else! The young man and women were nice and did a great job making my food and working together. YUM YUM so glad to see helpful people working

Called a order in, picked it up and after we home and started to eat realized they had messed up order. Called to get order corrected and the girl argued with me saying she didn’t mess it up. I told her I was the customer and wanted to know why she was arguing with me? She then hung up on me! Called back and talked to someone else and she fixed my order. I also told her that the girl with the bad attitude needs to apologize! Which didn’t happen!

Hello, I’m really just reaching out to others to ask you to consider airing your experience with the Swanton Vermont Subway. Am I the only person that is getting sandwiches with stale bread? I’ve contacted Subway three times now over the last year and a half about my concern. Their standard response seems to be to promise to fix the problem with their bread baking procedures and offer a $10 gift card to make up for my stale sandwich and hope I will stop complaining. For full disclosure, I accepted the first gift card, but refused the 2nd and asked that instead of buying me off (my words, not Subways), they fix the problem. My 3rd complaint is currently being worked on. I’m starting to feel that Subway isn’t being totally forthright with me. So I’m leaving this positive review in case I’m being unfair and ask all of you to leave your review before I leave my final (not as good review) but hopefully with some of your inputs.
As of March 23rd, 2017- I just wanted to add that the only times that I’ve had a problem with this Swanton Vermont Subway has been in the early spring and late fall, on weekends where I believe that they experience peaks in demand as folks come in to town to open (in the spring) and close (in the fall) their cottages on Lake Champlain. Just a theory, may or may not be correct. But anytime I’ve purchased a Subway sandwich in the mid summer it has been fine, buying in February as we ice fish, it’s been fine.
But, in my view, it should be fine most of the time.
