Went for my first time and holy hell, these wings are great! Got the smoked ones with garlic sweet chili and honey chipotle flavors, and both were amazing! The texture is really good, and while they’re a little on the smaller side, i just wanted more. The philly rolls were also pretty good, and the drinks were solid and reasonably priced. Gonna be introducing more people to this place for sure.

Came in around 6p on a Sunday so it wasn’t busy. The inside is what you’d expect for similar restaurants; darker ambiance , booths and tables, and outdoor seating as well. We were sat and addressed quickly, placing an order for drinks and an app. We then chose two entrees to share. For an old fashioned, a glass of Prosecco, an egg roll appetizer, a Cobb salad, and a steak sandwich with fries came to about $90 (with tip).

Our waitress was attentive without being invasive; she was quick and friendly .

My only complaint is the sticky table.

We would definitely return

(Last visited October 10, 2021.) That really doesn’t matter because I’m in here quite often. Lol. I feel bad for being so late to review this place, but my OCD doesn’t allow me to, but today, that changes! I’m here to tell you why I love this place AND why I filmed a video here!

Atmosphere/Appearance: Like it says in the name, this place is a really laid-back, chill, mellow tavern. The restaurant isn’t the biggest, but that’s okay. There’s quite a bit of seating outside for the warmer months and quite a big bar area as well complete with high-tops, booths as well as a lengthy bar rail. Beyond the bar area is a more “official-looking” dining room that’s made up of booths with traditional tables in the center. It’s never really too loud or rowdy in here, one of the reasons why I like it.

Service: We’ve been taken care of by quite a few people here and they’ve all been pretty awesome. I’m going to shout out Catnis, Kristen and Amy. I appreciate you all for always taking care of my crew whenever we come in!

Food: Once I found out they had smoked wings here, I kinda stuck to that section of the menu. Lol. They can fry your wings traditionally, but why waste wings frying them?! GET THEM SMOKED! They are incredible! I’ve also had everything single flavor they offer (mild Buffalo, hot Buffalo, BBQ, sweet garlic chili, honey mustard, honey chipotle and kitchen sink) with kitchen sink being my favorite next to their hot buffalo then honey chipotle. They can do no wrong here! The meat falls right off of the bone! The fried is good too, don’t get me wrong, but smoked is the way to go.

Value: I can’t really put a dollar figure on this place because the prices seem to rise and fall due to the market, especially within the last 2 years, BUT what I WILL say is to come during happy hour! You will get a NICE deal. I can’t remember the happy hour times during the week, but I do know we’ve come many times on Sunday and happy hour lasts the entire day… or until 7:00pm. Lol. I just can’t remember right now. My bad.

In conclusion, this is one of my go-to places to hang out and grab some amazing wings. It will continue to be and I’m so happy they were not a victim of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Beachland Tavern was great!! Service from Julie was fast and friendly. Interior of restaurant is really nice and was busy on a Friday at 5:30pm. Cauliflower appetizer is fantastic and just about perfectly prepared and tasting. Burnt Ends also tasted amazing and we’re so tender. Much better than real BBQ places. Only problem with the burnt ends was the cat food serving size portion. Way to small for the price. The Brooklyn sandwich is filled with flavor and definitely a great choice. Seared salmon sandwich also a nice combination of flavors. Both sandwiches were upper scale feeling. Cheesecake is ok. Overall Beachland Tavern was a great dinner experience.

Absolutely remarkable. After a considerable amount of time challenged with personal life my new wife and I had an opportunity to visit this enchanting Tavern. The service impeccable so polite and accommodating. The food exceeded any and all expectations. The ribeye I had was absolutely beautiful deliciously prepared and served. Everything about this place was perfect. I cannot wait to visit again.

Average food at best. Ordered several dishes for take out. Lettuce not fresh in both salads. Prices too high for the quality they serve. $9.00 for cheese fries no topping. Called Manager next day. His response ” Owner (Chip Kohn) sets prices. Nothing I can do. Sorry you didn’t enjoy the food, if you decide to give us another try, call me first”. If I have to call a restaurant first, it’s not where I will choose to eat. Spent over $90…no effort to try to rectify the situation. Dissapointing.

Great Craft Drafts. The Firefly Hollow Wood Drop is an American barrel aged red ale that has a nice Bourbon finish. It’s made in CT. The barkeep was friendly and attentive. The ambiance is warm and modern. The wall art is very cool. Not a foodie stop, just the craft draft look-about. During the week and on Sunday they have good happy hour specials on apps and drinks.

So I quit my career this day after 6 years of a cut throat industry and I wanted to celebrate with a DRANK! So after a little shopping my friend and I came here for a drank and some food. I drank a grapefruit martini (I love martinis hehe) and we also had wine both were so delishhh we also got cauliflower thai chili “wings” whatever you call it sorry Im not so helpful I’m a few glasses of wine in right now and my brain is impaired. BUT anyway back to drinks…Im not much of a drinker ( ) so to me it was a little strong but they were so good. WE both had a salmon sandwich I got mine with mash potatoes which were so amazing I can go for that right now again actually and she had the same but with sweet potato fries. The food was all so good, the atmosphere was so chill and friendly and the place was clean and very easy going. Prices are regular and the locations very easy to find. I definitely would like to come back. My friend and I were low key jelly we didn’t get invited to toast with the strangers next to us lol its ok we’ll just invite ourselves to the next toast we see. we just love to celebrate things rather we know them or not lol. Two thumbs. up yall! WOOO!!!
