Authentic Japanese restaurant, with delicious Sushi items and friendly staff! We had hot sake, Sashimi Appetizer and Tuna Dumplings – all delicious! Pricing was affordable and a great deal, be sure to stop in for a lunch special. Highly recommended!

One of the not so secret gems in downtown Asheville. It was a group of 5 and we were seated immediately. The portions were huge and the price point was so below the price. In these times when people are being more mindful of their dollars, this place hits way above its weight class in food quality and price point. A giant bowl of fried rice with your choice of protein was $14. It was literally enough for 2. The appetizers were equally impressive. We ordered a glass of sake with our lunch and it was poured 3/4 of the way on a very generous wine glass. Unbeatable value, unbeatable quality and friendly staff. Highly recommend this place, I wish I had taken photos of the amazing spread we had. We were visiting to see fall foliage at Smokey Mountains National Park and mother nature did not disappoint, neither will this place.

got around 7 orders of sushi on a boat and a pad thai with a crab rangoon appetizer to feed 5 people, i marked it as $20-$30 per person but we went home with enough food to feed at least another two people. great food and great price! also got a fried cheesecake for the birthday girl 🙂 (not all food pictured)

It was my first time going here. I got my food to go so I didn’t get to partake in the atmosphere but from what I saw, it looked go be a quiet place perfect for a date.
My sushi took about 15 minutes and was REALLY good. 3 rolls costs right around $30 which is a very good value!!! Parking wasn’t an issue for me but I can see how it could be especially if downtown is busy. I’ll be going back the next time I’m in Asheville!!

Located in downtown Asheville you won’t be disappointed this little sushi place is very reasonable. There was no waiting. The rules came out fast. We ordered pad Thai with shrimp that was out so fast that I didn’t believe they cooked. It was delicious. Peanuts were put on the side it was hot. Shoot sushi we had was without rice as you could see in the pictures. Everything was acceptable.

Ordered this place two times from Uber eats and was delicious both times. Highly recommend. Tonight i requested fried rice instead of white rice for a small upcharge and it did NOT disappoint. 10 out of 10 would do again!

Don’t order from here on a Monday. All the rice in my sushi was old and stale as if it had been sitting around for hours. The fake crab in the California roll smelled and tasted off, which it usually doesn’t. Paid $70 for inedible food. Threw everything except the Shumai away. Last time ordering from here.

Today was my second visit to Miyako House, the first of which was during their opening week, and found the service level to be better this time around. Miyako House has a very large menu, with a solid lunch section making it an easy choice if your near the Courthouse.
I went with a Spring Breeze Roll (Salmon & Mango roll, with Tuna White Tuna & Avocado on top, with a delicious Mango Sauce) and a Green Machine (Tempura Asparagus, Cucumber inside with Avocado & Eel sauce).
Both rolls were great, although I prefer my tempura a bit crunchier. Staff was friendly and the overall atmosphere of Miyako House is clean and light. They also have Free WiFi 🙂
