Food was great!! It’s a beautiful place, I loved the tables and decorations. Steak tacos were delicious. Everything was seasoned well. I was impressed by the meat itself. The meat was pretty lean with little to no fat or grizzly pieces. The beans and rice were also pretty tasty. I definitely enjoyed it. But I didn’t like the sour cream, and that’s ok cause that’s not important. The location is convenient. Small parking lot, but plenty of street parking.

My husband and I just ate here this evening. We came here four years ago right after they opened. They didn’t even serve alcohol yet back then.
So I was searching on Google for a good Mexican restaurant to try and I came across this place that I’d forgotten about.
I’m glad we went. Thankfully they serve adult beverages now. The decor was updated and looks good.
Jose was our waiter and he was fast and friendly.
I like to judge a Mexican restaurant by how good their tamales are and this place has great tamales.
We got the guacamole and chips, we thought the guac was a little bland, so we just added a little salt and it was fine.
I got the tamale plate. Two chicken and one pork tamale, rice, beans and the little salad. Everything was delicious.
My husband got the mixed meat fajitas and he said the steak and shrimp we cooked perfect and tasted great.
The prices were great. We will definitely be going here at least once a month for my tamale fix.

Everything we had at Tampico’s was delicious! Steak and chicken had great flavor, the salsas were fresh and brought different heats most other places don’t. Everyone was super nice and helpful. Their chile toreados with onions was GREAT! Most places I’ve been too don’t have it with onion or aren’t flavored enough. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I are new to the area, and we’re driving around and found this place. We walked in and were greeted by a group of employees. Very friendly. The waitress was very informative. The food was amazing and so flavorful. I had the steak taco bowl, and he had the steak tacos. The prices are pretty fair also. Definitely recommend!

Great Tamales, and Tacos! Large full portions. The gentleman behind the bar was real nice. We originally went here for tacos and beer however they currently aren’t serving beer, due to needing some sort of a partition between family dining and serving beer. So we settled for a Coke. Don’t let the fact they aren’t able to serve keep you away from this delicious food!! Oh one last thing their chips are delicious and their salsa fresh!!
