This was our first time trying Filipino food. Stopped by on 1/28/25 at lunch hour, and it was a great experience. The hostess gave us a warm welcome in and showed us around. The food was hot, delicious, and fresh! Very clean and relaxing environment with friendly staff. Perfect layout of the dining tables. I was able to push a toddler’s jogging stroller through the dining and buffet area with ease; spacious, not overly crowded. I really enjoyed the live music; the young lady had such a beautiful voice. The volume wasn’t overwhelming like some live music places I’ve gone to. It was absolutely perfect! She was very friendly and she’s very talented. I will definitely be back!

I was so disappointed this place was not better than it was especially after being advertised on channel 13 news by one of the newscasters there as being her favorite Filipino restaurant. When I got there I asked the lady where I should go to order the plates they showed already plated on their website, which she let me know was no longer correct as it was old. The food was buffet style only and it was so dry and nasty you could tell it sit under the heat lamps all day long without being rotated. I’m so disappointed we drove all the way from Jersey Village to come see this place because it was so highly recommended and it was nothing but a sad sad disappointment! I’m very angry with the food and service we had their I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Don’t waste your time or your money. The food even made my boyfriend sick on the way home. This is the worst horrible restaurant I have ever been to.

My introduction to Filipino food was at a coworker’s child’s birthday party during my time in the military. Since then, I’ve been a fan of TJ’s Philippine Cuisine in Pearland. Although my last visit was before Covid, I’ve been meaning to return and I’m confident that their food will be just as delicious. I highly recommend giving TJ’s Philippine Cuisine in Pearland a try.

I was leaving the VA this morning and thought , I need something hot to warm me up. So what better place than TJ Filipino . This is a family owned restaurant. So it’s like eating a Grandma home cooked meal. All the dishes are so delicious. My favorite was the curry chicken. The lumpia was amazing. I definitely will be coming back for more.

The food was super delicious & there was a lot of variety to choose from even the soups. The staff was extremely friendly and it wasn’t crowded during lunch time. The Halo Halo was really tasty, it was a great dessert. They also sell a lot of baked goods in the front by the cash register. There’s a lot of ube products. I recommend trying one of their ube breads.

Stopped by at 1 PM, buffet had a good crowd but no wait. Service was quick, and the food (16+ hot options) was tasty and filling.
For dessert, I ordered the Halo Halo to-go. At $7, it was small and pretty bland, with weak flavors and skimpy toppings.
**Verdict:** Buffet = worth it. Halo Halo = skip.

The food was delicious atmosphere was nice The ladies that work there were very nice also. This location is in pearland and we had a 29 mile trip to get there but worth the drive.
