It seemed pretty busy at lunchtime on a Saturday, which is understandable,so it took a while to receive our food. We did takeout, so we were already about to leave the parking lot when we realized they gave us regular fries instead of the garlic parmesan we ordered. They took back the fries and gave us sadly topped garlic parm fries that were disappointing and bland with no salt at all and no topping on 90% of them. Not worth the money and the burgers were cool and getting soggy by the time we ate waiting for the second batch of fries.

I HAVE to share this because I am still smiling from ear to ear!!!
I called BGR in Columbia, MD to ask what type of flour they use in their gluten-free buns. The gentleman who answered the phone was so kind, so patient, and gave me every detail I needed without hesitation. Just genuinely polite and helpful. I thanked him and told him I’d be placing my order through the app.
Fast forward a little while later… I placed my delivery order: one burger, fries, and onion rings.
A few minutes after ordering, my phone rings from a number I didn’t recognize.
It was HIM… The same gentleman from BGR!!!
He said he was calling because he noticed I ordered onion rings and wanted to make sure I knew they were a battered product and likely not gluten free. Y’all… I was in COMPLETE shock. The fact that he connected the phone call from earlier to my app order and cared enough to personally call me back? For ONE burger, fries, and onion rings?!?!
That level of attention, care, and follow-through is rare.
I thanked him and told him he was an absolute angel for looking out for me like that. Then I explained the onion rings were just for me and that I don’t have food allergies. We both laughed, and he told me my health and my stomach are their top priority.
Excuse me?! WHO DOES THAT ANYMORE?!
I am completely blown away by the service I received. That wasn’t just good customer service… that was genuine care!
BGR Columbia, you have something special over there. Keep up the AMAZING job. You absolutely made my day! ✝

This was a very good hamburger. Though I asked for medium, it was medium well. Of course, degree of doneness is a challenge for any hamburger joint. Even so, the meat was flavorful. There was quite a bit of bacon on my bacon cheeseburger. The onion rings were also quite good. The shortfall was Pepsi products, which I do not prefer. I think the shock for me was one burger, order of onion rings, and fountain drink was $25.00.

First time coming into BGR and the service was top tier. Cashier was super patient, helpful, and gave great recommendations given my dietary restrictions with not eating pork. The food was cooked almost perfectly and came out fresh. I dined in and the place is very clean and chill which was really nice. Definitely a solid first experience, highly recommend!

This was my first time trying this restaurant, and I was so impressed! Jordan was super helpful and patient while taking our order. He made suggestions and answered all our questions! BGR grills a pretty good burger, and offers a variety of specialty burgers to livin’ things up… currently they’re prepping a Korean style burger, complete with Kimchi and Sriracha.
The struggle is with the cleanliness of the dining room and soda areas. We were there during an off-hour. There was only one other diner and three staff members. Food debris was scattered throughout the dining room, and the soda/utensil area was grungy and sticky.
A cleaner common area would go along way to making this eatery part of our regular rotation.

The burgers are magnificent, just the way you order them. The fries and sweet potato fries are superb . I take my family and friends who visit me from abroad, and they always want to come back. I’m gluten-free, and almost no other restaurant has that option. The people who serve you are always attentive and smiling.

Do not go here!! They are absolutely disgusting. I wish I did my research before spending $50+ on 2 burgers and a kids meal. The burgers taste beyond disgusting and even the ranch and BBQ taste gross. I was so excited to try this spot but oh my…… never ever again!! 🙁 $16+ a burger with no fry’s or drinks, expensive and taste bad. Just don’t waste your time, or money.

Got to love it when they screw your order up and then blame you for it. And then somehow they refuse to remake it and they fix it by letting your order get ice Cold while putting cold ingredients back on it not bothering to remake it because you know definitely not allergic to the thing that I am allergic to that I specifically said to put on the food.

Decided to treat my mom and I to burgers this afternoon. Took the order to go since she wasn’t with me, when I got home the napkins were mashed into the garlic parmesan fries that I got and the napkins were soaked. Don’t think my order should’ve been packed like this because now I have very soggy fries. Thankfully the burger is ok. Maybe check your food before you leave the restaurant .
