Little Red smokehouse is a cute little spot on Route 58 in Carver. It has a nicely done rustic interior, very campy, with Shingles on the interior and A wooden canoe hung upside down in the dining room. My wife had a craving for pulled pork, while i was in the mood for wings. She had a pulled pork sandwich, which she liked, but thought that the Cole slaw watered down the flavor of the pork too much. I tried the deep fried cranberry barbeque wings, which were absolutley delicious. The glaze had an Amazing flavor, and clung to every wing. I also had a side of Mac and Cheese, which despite being a bit dry, was very tasty. They offered flavored barbeque sauce on the table to try, which was lovely. All in all a really cute place for Ribs and much more !

I visited here with my Girlfriend and we had a desire for good BBQ food. I really wanted a good beef Brisquet, after watching Action Bronson eat it Brisquet from an other restaurant.
I can say I was disappointed with the Brisquet, it had no flavor. Neither did the pulled pork. Thank goodness for the sauces at the table.
The Baby back ribs were very good without sauce.

Met a group here for dinner. Driven past it a hundred times, but being from the South, I don’t much go for Northern BBQ, unless it’s Redbones.
The really good: our waitress – who was also the bartender – was great! When I told her we wanted separate checks for all 10 of us, she didn’t even flinch – which is rare and a relief, and she checked on us regularly with a smile on her face.
While I didn’t try even a bite of it, one person ordered the Mac & Cheese and was over the moon about it. Those who tried it agreed.
The good: decent beer selection and a menu that doesn’t try and do too much.
I ordered the Sloppy O, and am glad I did. The combination of pulled pork and chili worked well together and the branded, grilled, and buttery bun was kind of sinfully good. Fries were okay – better with seasoning and some of the table BBQ sauces and ketchup, and the coleslaw was meh.
Like that they had a variety of BBQ sauces on the table, as I didn’t find the pulled pork itself flavorful or moist enough on its own.
The not so much for me: one person ordered the Pulled Pork Nachos for the group (it’s a dish mentioned a few times in Yelp) and while most people seemed to really like them, they just weren’t for me. Many nachos, not as much pork.
I like my pulled pork to be a little juicier, a little more flavorful, and I just didn’t get that from this first vist. Maybe next time.
So, of BBQ places I’ve visited in the area, it’s not as good as Redbones, but it’s WAY better than Surfside Smokehouse in Plymouth.

One of the best restaurants around. Often overlooked in it’s “off the beaten path” location, it is a hidden gem that the locals love. Everything on the menu is delicious, affordable and we’ll prepared. I bring visitors here every chance I get and I feel good about supporting a mom & pop establishment.

Guess we are just lucky lol. We started with the tater tots, not what you think these are baseball sized made from mashed taters with cheese coated in panko and fried, delishous. I had the smoked kielbasa with mac and cheese and slaw, tastebud heaven when mixed up and the Carolina bbq sauce. My bride had the brisket mac and cheese, again delishousness at it’s best. Service was on point and very friendly. We will be back. Forgot to take other pics, next time.

Was looking forward to having loaded pullpork nachos but got bbq sauce on chips with a hint of cheese and unseasoned small chunks of meat very disappointing. I really hope they can make them great again the first time I had them they where AMAZING I gave two star for the super nice staff and cozy country atmosphere
