Since 1999 Atwater’s has been making traditional food crafted by hand. We began in a small bakery making only one kind of bread and grew to our current Baltimore shops that specialize in soup, sandwiches, salad, cheese, coffee, Scottish pies, jam, and more! Came in for lunch on a Thursday at 12 noon. The place was super busy and vibrant. I got the grilled ham and cheddar biscuit and my wife got the chicken caesar sandwich. They were both 10/10, but the ham and cheddar biscuit sandwich stole the show, just an awesome sandwich! The GM, Bronson, came over and chatted with us at our table and made sure everything was satisfactory.

I do love Atwaters, it’s a Baltimore spot. The drinks were really good (lavender oat milk latte) and the kale salad with a scoop of chicken salad was delicious. I do think the price of the food was a little high, especially for the amount. Will always go here and support this business though.

Such a nice place, I messed up my order and a man helped me I think his name was Bronson he was so friendly and went above and beyond with customer service. I was extremely grateful and suprised to find such incredible service. 10/10 recommend

This was our first visit here, and we decided to stop in for lunch. Parking was brutal on Saturday, but we managed to squeeze into a spot nearby.
This place is very small on the inside and has limited seating. The menus are available at the counter as well as near the front entrance. After glancing at the menu, I ordered a bowl of gumbo and a bacon and grilled cheese sandwich, which came with a side of sliced apples. Hubby ordered the country breakfast meal. Along with our meal, I ordered an iced tea that was sweetened with some sweetner, and hubby had coffee.
We were able to find seating and enjoy our beverages while waiting for our meals. The food was good. Hubby said he was still hungry after his meal. He felt that for the price, the meal could be more filling.

My wife and I just had a very nice brunch at Atwater’s. It’s situated in a parking lot so there’s plenty of free parking. The view from the patio tables is uninspiring unless you enjoy seeing cars go in and out of parking spaces.
She had avocado toast, and I had avocado grill and broccoli and cheese soup. The food was mostly quite good, but there wasn’t enough cheese in the soup.
The restaurant was clean and neat. Service was friendly and efficient. I recommend Atwater’s.

The coffee at Atwater’s in Towson is really good — smooth, flavorful, and always fresh. The chicken salad sandwich is also a standout! It’s made with quality ingredients and served on fresh bread. It’s a great spot for a great sandwich and an excellent cup of coffee.

Wonderful experience…This year was different but we still needed a King Cake. I have been to Atwater’s many times before Covid-19. I looked online and they had the cake I needed. I always had a great experience. My grandson had loved it too. This visit was just perfect. I decided to call first. I called and since it was Fat Tuesday; they only had one left. I told them to please hold it. I got there and decided to pick up inside. The beautiful cakes, breads, cupcakes & cookies looked mesmerising. Customer service was spectacular. I had always loved their soups and sandwiches. Thank you Atwater’s …. Job well done.

This is a wonderful place! I went for my first time today after looking over their menu and seeing many options available that differ from your normal diner. I walk in and was immediately welcomed in. Not long after that another welcomed me in, offering help once I explained it was my first time in and I was trying to look over the menu, which I didn’t notice was right by the front door. Every staff member was genuinely polite and courteous throughout my experience. The food was well made and delicious 🙂 I will definitely be coming back.

Love this Baltimore chain, fresh food. Cooked with natural ingredients. They have great chicken salad, sandwiches and baked goods. Great coffee selection also. You can sit down and eat or go through the drive through. Great environment and service
