Great food and service. We ordered Bruschetta and pizza and loved them both. Will definitely come again to try more dishes. Bruschetta did take a while to come, but it did not disappoint, made with freshly baked bread and easy delicious. Pizza was cooked perfectly with plenty of toppings.

The best Italian food around. This is my second review of this amazing restaurant. My wife and I still eat at Rossini Italian Restaurant, 4 or 5 times a week. The menu is full of traditional Italian dishes. And they are all worth trying. But it’s the specials that will bring you back again and again. They just seem to show up on the chalk board. It sets just inside the front door. In the last couple months. We’ve had Steaks, Pork Shoulder, Rice Pilaf and more. I even had a menu item that i have not eaten in 30 years… Disco Fries. My wife loves the small Caesar salad with Salmon. My favorite, is the grilled Chicken fillets. Blackened, with fettuccine noodles. All with a lite lemon sauce. Jim is the owner and chief. He takes pride in ever dish he prepares. Even the deep fried 4 cheese raviolis. My favorite, almost ever day for lunch. Here are a few photos of some of the best food around. Treat yourself…. A friend wanted to go here, I personally have been here 3 times in the past having pizza all those times. I was not a huge fan of the pizza that I ate at those times. He told me I had to have their tomato pie with grated cheese, and it was fantastic! Im glad I gave you a other chance i will definitely be back for that tomato pie! We got it well done, just the way I like it.

Ordered 2 grinders and a chicken parm dinner for pickup. Chicken parm was all watery sauce and consisted of 1 cup of pasta. The grinders were thrown together with bitter sauce and not even cut in half and the meatballs were made with nasty hard meat. Very disappointing.

Had lunch today with sis & cousins, since they’re homeward bound on Monday.
Sis suggested Rossini’s, a nice pizza joint local to her home.
Good call sis!
As it was a damp, chilly October afternoon, I elected to start with a bowl of chicken-pastina soup that was very generously portioned and full of chicken, veggies & pastina. It really was good and definitely took the chill out of my bones.
Sis ordered a small 12″ seafood pizza that she said was excellent. One cousin ordered a small 12″ Hawaiian pizza with ham & pineapple that we teased her about throughout our lunch, saying she must actually be a Californian, and my other cousin selected a Margherita pizza with fresh mozzarella, fresh tomato, fresh basil & garlic.
I opted for my standby sausage, cheese, peppers, & mushroom grinder (sub, hoagy, or pick your region’s name for this kind of sandwich LOL).
The three women had very little pizza to take home with them, so it musta’ been pretty darned good!
I managed to finish my grinder, though I don’t know how. It was overstuffed and very, very good.
Our server was a delightful young lady, who was Janey on the spot.
One star knocked off because we were REALLY hungry, and our orders seemed to take an inordinate length of time to prepare. We even joked that they probably had to go to Hawaii to get a pineapple for the Hawaiian pizza.
Otherwise, the lunch and service were a delight.

Me, my parents, my sister and our family-friends went out to dinner there tonight and the service was terrible! We were all a party of 9 and apparently everyone with a party of 9 or more has to tip 20% and we were doing 2 separate checks. So our friends tipped them the 20% and my parents weren’t able to tip 20% this week so we just tipped them 15% and the waitress said we couldn’t do that and the owner said that “the 20% isn’t mandatory” as this woman is demanding 20%! Then don’t even get me started on this horrible waitress! She was horrible more than I can even put into words! if I explain we would be here all night! then once we got into the car my mom called them and they said our friends were the problem but then when our friends talked to them they said we were the problem just a terrible experience! DO NOT GO TO ROSSINIS!!!! the Owner was also VERY disrespectful to all of us as well! Also the waitress name was Alea! DO NOT LET ALEA BE YOUR WAITRESS! TERRIBLE SERVICE!

Perfect restaurant for a family, a date or any occasion. Great food. Exceptional service. We had the Sicilian pizza, meatball appetizer and the chicken Parm and each were amazing.

My doctor told me to cut back on carbs so I brought some garlic bread and a slice of peperoni pizza from Rossini’s. She apologized and prescribed a larger belt size. This is the best traditional pizza spot in Cheshire. Go here. Be happy.

This place is one of the best pizza around. I drive from southington down here on Friday nights. The pizza is cooked perfect I prefer the uncooked bacon pizza and my wife says they have the best meatballs she has ever had

Came here for the first time yesterday. The pizza is really really good its not easy to find good pizza around here because there are so many pizza places. The only thing I was disappointed with was that the bacon on my pizza was not crispy id probably ask for crispy bacon on my pizza next time, but ive gotta say the pizza was delicious either way. And the staff were super friendly. And its a family run pizza place. My experience was good.
