I stopped by Mezzo with my cousin earlier this week and we had such a great time. We started the night with drinks and shared an appetizer, then I ordered the eggplant parm while she got the short rib pasta both were delicious. We also tried the arancini and finished with tiramisu, which was the perfect ending to the meal. Such a good dinner spot if you haven’t been yet! ✨

We came tonight after an event with some friends. We placed our order and after over an hour of waiting for even our appetizer, we asked for our food to go. We really should have just asked to cancel our food, because it is quite literally the worst food, service & overall restaurant experience we’ve ever had & the food questionably edible. I’m actually appalled we spent $80 at this establishment & hope we don’t get sick from the few bites we did consume. We could barely cut through the meatballs. I wish there was a way to return food or get a refund, because this experience was all around atrocious & would love our money back.

Went to have dinner before a show at the Benedum and made a reservation for 6pm knowing we just had to walk down the street for the 7:30pm showing. The evening started out fine. We got our water and were looking over menus. It took the waitress a little bit to get to us but not a problem. We put in an order for a wine flight and my girlfriend ordered a glass of wine as well as the calamari to start while we were figuring out our entrees. Our calamari came out before we even got our wine. When we got the wine it was probably 6:20ish so we decided to put our order for entrees which was the carbonara and the crab ravioli. We finished the calamari and were happily drinking our wine but at 7:00 we still hadn’t gotten our food. Hadnt even been checked on or anything since we put our order in 40 minutes earlier. Asked the waitress to give us our bill just help speed up the process because we were going to have to be pretty quick with our meal at that rate but still wanted our meal. The waitress comes back with the check and there’s no entrees on there at all. I don’t think it was ever even put in. We left at 7:15 hungry and not satisfied with the service at all.

The pizza shells are frozen and store bought. In fact, I’m pretty sure they’re the same frozen pizza shells they sell at Sam’s club where you can get 20 for $30. Which would be fine except they’re charging $30 for a 12″ 8-slice pizza.
Nothing that we ordered was seasoned.
We had a decent time but the pricing does not match the quality.

Recently went on a hot July day, and I guess the AC was broken because it was quite hot inside and only a couple of fans to keep air moving.
However, we were lucky enough to be sat at the Chef VIP table. There we got to get a peek into the kitchen and a meet and greet with the executive chef.
He explained the philosophy of the restaurant and menu (all fresh, high quality ingredients, and no food waste).
We were treated to an off menu appetizer based on what we generally liked, and it was out of this world ( sort of a deconstructed Philly cheesesteak).
We ordered some pizzas and pasta which were absolutely fantastic. Really an amazing experience, and appreciated the attention from the chef.
Look forward to coming back and will actually plan to have an event here based on our experience and meeting with the chef.

We started with the foccicia bread and shared a caesar salad, as they were was provided with our $30+ meals. The foccicia was hard, cold, however came with an olive oil and balsamic base which was tatsy for dipping. The Caesar salad was a great choice, per our server it was large enough to share and he was absolutely correct. I was supprised there was not a merlot to go with our Italian meal and the cab was vinegary at best. We instead chose an iced tea and an espresso martini, both average. My husband had a very good chicken Parm. The ragu was scrumptious and the portion size generous. I ordered eggplant parmesan, after a few bites of the delicious pasta, I bit into meat our server quickly remedied this bringing me back the correct dish. If we visit again, it looks like the 1st floor will be an option. Maybe trying the pizza which has rave reviews above.

Reservation for 5:15 PM for two people (me and my wife).
Seated at 5:00 PM
Waited at the table for over 40 minutes before anyone came over to even acknowledge that we were there. It took my wife the step of getting up and speaking with the host to remind them we even existed.
We order, and our pizza came at 6:00 PM, but my wife’s carbonara didn’t come until closer to 6:15 PM.
Absolutely disappointing service for what we hoped would be a great place.

We went here today after a show at the Benedum and besides from some confusion about where to check in for our reservation everything was fantastic. Our server was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and the tiramisu was perfect!

Chicken parm barely had any sauce and was watery and was extremely bland.
Strawberry margarita was terrible and they put salt on the rim without asking.
I mentioned to the waitress that the chicken parm was bland but she just said sorry and walked away.
I will never go back here and do not recommend. However, the meatballs at Sienna Mercato downstairs are delicious, so stick to the first floor.

Saturday night, January 17,2026 was the first time I have ever ate at a restaurant and not left a tip. I wanted to take this woman out for a nice dinner so we looked through the different restaurants participating in restaurants week and their menus. We had been to a few of them and wanted to try something different and Mezzo at Sienna Mercato had the most impressive menu. We get there, the ambiance was nice and it smelled great. We were set at a nice table. It took a while before the waiter came over and things started to go down hill. We both noticed that everyone else had a nice bottle of water at their table to refill their glass at their leisure while we were given iced water in a glass and mine was plastic. Didn’t complain. We order our apps, never got any silverware and had to ask for it after the apps were on the table for a few minutes. Didn’t complain. She got the Burrata, which was fire with the blistered tomatoes and balsamic drizzle. I got the Fried Calamari which could of used a lil salt imo but was fresh and cooked perfectly. We order our entrees. She got the Gnocchi Florentine. I ordered the Short Rib w/ papperdelle pasta which was the deciding factor in picking the restaurant in the first place. We were served half portions, which i know we were paying reduced prices for but you’d think these type of establishments would jus serve the normal portion size because it was a limited menu and restaurant week is an advertisement for future business. We order a bottle of Kowerich For Fairies & Elives Riesling wine, which i pronounced the best i could but the waiter didn’t have any knowledge about flavor profile or what it paired with. I know Rieslings are sweeter, refreshing, and crisp so we get it anyway and it was great. Entrees come out and he brings her the Gemelli A La Vodka instead of the Gnocchi. My Short Rib and Papperdelle should have been called Short Rib flavored cause there were more rstd carrots and no short Rib to speak of. I felt like I was given leftovers for real. We had to get his attention to let him know that he brought the wrong entree. He never apologized but they did make her a full portion of the Gnocchi. Still didn’t complain. We order dessert she ordered the Panna Cotta and I theTiramisu. We were told the Panna Cotta was 86, which happens but he should’ve known before we ordered and got Cannolis instead. The Tiramisu was pretty good but the Cannolis was the worst I have ever had we left them pretty much untouched. WE STILL DIDN’T COMPLAIN. He brings the bill, I put my card in but never looked at it cause I knew round about what we spent. I open it with plans tip in cash cause I know that’s service staff preference, only to see that he charged us double. He didn’t offer us discount after all this so I asked to see a manager. I tried so hard not to complain cause we were the only minorities in there and I know the stereotype. The manager finally came and I recapped or experience. He did discount the bottle of wine. I left their pissed and still hungry!! I End up at the crib eat chicken potstickers.
