First time visiting Kimchi Box and can say it’s really good. I order the combo c, which comes with any choice of the kimchi boxes and popcorn chicken with any sauce, and a soft drink. I also ordered the mandu!
– Royal Bulgogi (3/5): The salad and japchae were perfect (no complaints) but my bulgogi was dry and lack a lot of flavor ♀️
– Mandu (4/5): fresh and juicy. I did try to ask for side of soy garlic sauce and was informed it’s a $1…little odd to charge for switching sauce
– Soy Garlic Popcorn Chicken (5/5): Literally no complaints, enjoyed every bite ( tastes exactly like Hola Seoul in Ann Arbor )
Overall enjoyed myself, great casual atmosphere, but for the vibes it insinuates I wish they had wall outlets (wanted to eat and do work). Really enjoyed myself, just annoyed about the sauce upcharge and the dry (lacking of flavor) bulgogi, which I was most excited about.

It blows my mind that this place is not wayyyy busier. This food is, no exaggeration, the best Asian I’ve had in a very long time… ever? Close. Got here by accident when Chipotle was out of rice. Took a gamble, tried something new, 100% don’t regret it. It’s my new fav spot. Best Pad Thai in MI. I want to come back tomorrow.

I’ve been to Kimchi Box well over 15 times now and honestly I’ve never had a single bad experience. Every time I get the sassy fries and the small wings they’re perfect. Every single location is good too. The flavor is always consistent, everything comes out hot, fresh, and crazy good. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place deserves it. If you want something that never disappoints, this is it.

I love Kimchi Box! I ordered carry out today and the cashier told me it’d be 10-15 minutes. I had my food in 5! Food was fresh and hot. Always is! Highly recommend!

Another one of those places I have been “meaning to try”… I’m very glad I did! I stopped in for lunch on my route out in Sterling Heights. The place has a simple layout and room for plenty of customers. The kitchen area is upfront, making the place smell delightful. I had peeped the menu before coming in, so I knew what I wanted to try. I ordered the Seoul Chicken Sandwich with the Koren Sassy sauce. So… dang.. good! I never had a fried chicken thigh sandwich… way better than expected. I dare say better than chicken breast! Spicy but not that omg hot. Loved it.
I also tried the Red Bean Buns, and let me tell you they are amazing. I have never tried a sweet item like this before. I was pleased, to say the least. Very tasty treat.
All in all, I will be back.

So glad we finally have a Korean fried chicken place in this area. Food was excellent. Street tacos were delicious. Got both the soy garlic and sassy sauce for wings and they were fantastic. Seoul chicken sandwich was great with the sassy sauce. Friendly and quick staff. Will definitely be going back.

Sooo so sooooooooo good! Been there twice and can’t wait for#3!! It’s our favorite restaurant in the Detroit area!! Out favorites so far are the bulgogi box and the kimchi fries and any of the tacos!! The Seoul chicken sandwich is good but very spicy if u get the sassy sauce. I think I would order 2-3 different tacos next time instead of the chicken sandwich…. But it was still delicious

Kimchi Box is a great fusion restaurant. It takes traditional Korean food and adds a modern twist. There are a lot of options and everything we ordered tasted GREAT. It was like everything was made fresh. If you’ve never had Korean food and always wondered what the cuisine is like, this would be a good place to start. The only downfall is they didn’t have chopsticks.

Wow – this hip restaurant has a yummy Korean-inspired menu, fusing Korean, Mexican and American cuisines. The menu is easy to navigate. Everything I ordered was delicious and fresh: Korean-style fried chicken, Kimchi fries and Kimchi taco. Portions are very generous! The fried chicken and kimchi fries were the standouts for me. I will definitely return next time I’m in the area. Very highly recommended!
