I had heard such great things about Jackie’s and when the opportunity arose my wife and I accompanied by our very close friends saddled up and ventured out to dine at Jackie’s! We were not disappointed! Food was great. Atmosphere was great. Service was great! Only thing missing was potato salad! But the coleslaw sufficed just fine, The calamari was fried to perfection, catfish was fried to perfection, the frog legs were fried to perfection, the oysters were fried to perfection. You see where I’m going with this? Definitely will venture back on a Saturday night. Crab legs are served. Parking is a little tight but that’s understandable given the atmosphere.

Catfish Jackie was great. 1st time visiting. Food was great. Fried Catfish over a bed of rice underneath Crawfish Etouffee. It was lunch time. They have a buffet also.

This was my first time trying Jackie’s. I was pleasantly surprised. The buffet was $11.99 plus tax. It had catfish and all kinds of other country foods like cobblers and puddings. The food was delicious, and the people were real friendly. Some of the people eating said I need to come back on the weekend. I will be back!

My Brothers and I rode our motorcycles down to have lunch here. The power went out after got our food but came back on right before we left. The food is buffet style and it tasted pretty good.

Yummy! The pickles cucumbers and onions and the salad bar were great! Fried shrimp were my favorite, fish, oysters and hush puppies great as well! Quick service good prices. Our first time here. Will definitely go back when we are in the area!

BLT was made just the way my husband likes them. The shrimp po’boy .. I can’t say enough about it you can see it’s a large serving. I took half of the sandwich and fries back with us. The waitress was very pleasant and friendly, very accommodating when I asked for a container of hot water.

The steaks are a bit dry once u get them from the juice they are in but have a good taste..the fried fish and shrimp is really good,also the pasta salad is full of flavor…different waitress come to ur table and Check on u overall will go back…

Service was just okay. The lunch buffet was outstanding! ($13.99 ends at 2pm) Some of the best butter beans I’ve ever had. I’m partial to buffets because most are bland and don’t season food for the masses. This place ain’t afraid to salt and pepper and season the buffet! The sweet potato casserole was on fire. So yummy. We sat right before 2pm and they cooked us great fried catfish. Not the best I’ve ever had but great for a buffet. The steak tip stew with rice was tender and the gravy consistency was excellent.
The server never cleared our used plates or asked us for refills. It was super slow and she was doing side work. We had to ask if we pay at table or counter.

We stopped in on a whim while driving to TX from MS. We enjoyed the home cooking buffet. The fried fish and chicken were delicious as well as everything else we ate. All the food was fresh. Very popular with the locals.
