I don’t like to leave negative reviews but considering me and my family have been waiting to come here, I have to let others know it is just not the same. We were the first ones here when it opened, I enjoy the dark setting and the big booths. Tables used to have the chinese placemats but they were non existent this trip and the menus have been redone. Our waitress was pleasant she took our order right away and checked in on drinks, I didn’t have the heart to say how we didn’t enjoy the food. There was an aftertaste with the water and soda i recieved I couldnt put my finger in what it could be, maybe the ice or the dishes themselves. As for the food I had been thinking about the almond chicken for months as it had always been a staple and no other place could compare. Unfortunately the gravy must have a new recipe because it has a dark color and the taste is nowhere near what it used to be, I was so disappointed. I also ordered the sweet and sour prawns which tasted like vinegar and was so goopy/gelatin like that I tried scraping it off to salvage the prawns thay seemed reheated cuz the batter was chewy and not cripy like in the past. The eggroll was not good either I dont think the sweet n sour even attached to it when i dipped it. The fried rice was also a let down as it was mushy I remember a time grabbing a spoonfool and having individual grains spill off the sides from the little mound, not this time. I had ordered a to-go plate but after the food we tried eating I had to cancel.

The bar was really cool. Awesome bartender. She was really helpful with information about local places and just a genuinely kind human that’s just great at her job. Excellent service. The food was good too. We got Mongolian Beef pan fried noodles and the #1 Combo.
Definitely recommend.

Just threw away $34 lunch. Not even edible, rice was cold and funky tasting.. It takes a lot for me to add a review and this was as bad as it gets. I ate 1 piece of chicken and tossed the whole thing. Could have got a crap meal at Mac d’s for under $10 at leased I wouldn’t be hungry. Employees were very nice….

The American food they offer here is AMAZING. You would be surprised that this chinese spot has great steaks, burgers, fries, potatoes and salads. This is the NY steak, cooked medium, I added the grilled onions, came with a salad before hand, it was great Not bad on price either, I’d rather get a steak here then any other steak house around the area, you get quality and quantity with the American food they offer here!

UPDATE: I would not eat here. I went again after this post. The sweet and sour was sour and watered down, the rice again was terrible, and glasses dirty!! We’ve just stopped going. I’m so sad it was the best at one time!

I have had a bad experience with the food about a year ago, and i thought im gonna give it another try… The food i ordered tonight was so awful. My Sweet & Sour chicken tasted freezer burnt as it was chewy and the middle of it was a blackish blue color. My Sweet & Sour was like Jello and tasted bland. Everything wasn’t fresh and tasted old. I sam very disappointed bc i spent a good chunk on money here and also tipped great as it was all to go! I definitely dont recommend this place.

This is one of my favorite spots to visit in Yakima. The service is amazing, the atmosphere is chill and low key. They have kereoke and it all type of music. I would highly recommend lotus.

Food wasn’t as good as I’ve had from here in the past. it wasn’t bad, but it’s been better. The atmosphere is great. The only real issue is that they need to take a scrubber and degreaser to the tables. They’ve been cleaned, but there was years of buildup on our table.

Worst food ever. I ordered the spareribs and I got this gob of black goop. It was disgusting. I tired to scrap it off and eat the meat and after two bites I couldn’t force anymore down.
I was soo upset and hungry, tears ran down my face. I am not a picky eater ,but this was the nastiest food I’ve ever had.
