If you like chicken salad, their chicken salad sandwich is great. It was pretty crowded while we were there and our order was still ready pretty quickly. Only downside was that the one table available had leftover crumbs/stuff from the previous patrons.

Not very welcoming. Waited over 20 min for a to-go b-fast sandwich. Okay, fine it was kind of busy. But when I get my sandwich and it’s sloppily made it’s so disappointing. At least spread the aioli over the bun. I also paid extra for an egg on a breakfast sandwich? Do better.

Amazing sandwiches! On the expensive side, but worth it every once in awhile. Got the BBL (bacon beets lettuce ) which was $16, and was blown away by how yummy it was.
Would def come back to try their breakfast items!
Very cute and ecclectic inside, and staff is really friendly.

I would give a 1 start for the breakfast burrito I got today because it was so salty that it wasnt edible. I’m giving three stars because the first breakfast burrito I had here about a month ago was great. Who ever was cooking today, chill out on the salt! It was a bummer to toss what I thought would be a delightful burrito.

It’s been a minute since I’ve been back here. I’m glad that I came back though. The place is still the same as I remembered it to be, nice and cozy. I ordered their special for the sandwich week – bacon and beef sloppy joe. I’ve have not had a sloppy joe since elementary school. This version was much better as it was flavorful and leaving me satisfied. The place still does counter service with limited seating inside and some seats outside.

Tiny little shop with awesome food and people! Great price for the quality!
Turkey, bacon sandwich was fire
Fresh made ciabatta was on point!
Coming back and you should too! Came back the next day and got tomato soup and the most amazing pulled pork sandwich! Don’t let the massive size fool you! It’s delicious!

Lesson learned here: don’t order a salad from a sandwich shop. I got the turkey sandwich as a salad, and I felt like I was in San Fran or Seattle when a small little salad with sliced turkey came out for $15. “Sandwhich as salad” – I was picturing like toasted bread on the side with a bigger, yummy salad for $15. I was so, so sad. My friends got the pork sandwich and beat/bacon sandwich both of which were very good (could be 1-2 bucks less). They need to get rid of all salads if that’s the size/style they are and just pull the turkey off the menu because I can’t imagine the sandwich is great, either – and I believe it would be a 5/5 sandwich shop experience. Love the cozy, down-to-earth vibe.

Went on a whim for my birthday breakfast and Meat Cheese Bread just became my favorite breakfast spot in town. I asked the gentlemen taking my order what he recommended and he told me the Steak and Egg was the one…. he was right. So good, I had to visit again a day later… Can’t wait to go back! Great vibe, good energy, incredible food.

We have been to Portland about half a dozen times and I am so glad we finally found this wonderul establishment. Everything here was awesome. The food, the service, the guys working and running the joint, all of it. I researched best breakfast burritos in Portland and this spot showed up. I read a little bit of the description and knew this is where I was headed. The ham, egg, and cheese was melt in your mouth good, the beef and blue cheese was out loud “mmmm” good, and the burrito might have been one of the best things we ate this year with our stay in Portland. They do little things well, like fresh baked breads and what not. They had positive vibes all the way and I can’t wait to return next year. I highly recommend to any locals and out of towners alike. This place was so freaking good!
