Atmosphere is not much to look at but who cares when the food is that delicious. For those who miss John’s Lunch, THIS is where the people go to eat fried seafood. Best French fries I’ve ever had, HANDS DOWN. Got the seafood platter for 50$ and split it with my husband.

We went for the Father’s Day special: $15 for a two piece fish and chips! You had a choice of haddock or flounder. We got the flounder and it was delicious! The fries had a nice crispy coating, and the coleslaw was perfect. They are licensed and have both indoor and outdoor seating. If you’re ever in Five Islands, definitely stop by for a fantastic meal!

Wow, they weren’t lying! These were the BEST clams I have ever had! The food takes a bit but it is worth it! Highly recommend! (I just wish they made their own tartar sauce)

Ordered from the takeout window. No one said how long the wait would be. After 1 HOUR and 10 minutes, I got my food. The scallop burger was incredibly small, scallops were chewed, and all it had was tartar sauce. Seafood chowder was filled with potatoes. The “#1 fried clams” were mediocre. I honestly feel scammed out of $55.

Stopped by this place during a 10-day road trip around PEI, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick, one of the rare spots I truly enjoyed eating at. The people are so hospitable and kind, and the food is cheap, clean, and tasty. My girlfriend and I shared a seafood combo platter the fish was super fresh and perfectly cooked. We left with cheesecake to go, and I grabbed a scoop of ice cream that felt more like 3 or 4.
Big shoutout to the amazing, welcoming staff. I’d definitely go back if I’m ever around the Bay of Fundy again.

Very fresh fish and steamers. They were good enough that the table mowed through the first plate of steamers and had to order a second.
The only downside was the scallop sandwich… The whole scallops were good, but without anything else the sandwich was pretty bland. Just go for the scallop meal instead.

Delicious. The clams were good, and the fries were even better. I got the senior portion. It was fine for lunch. It’s probably about half of what you get with a full meal. I did appreciate the option, I wish more places had smaller portion options like that. I would definitely return.

A small fish take away place on the side of the road with a large Adirondack chair out front…picnic table huts for outside dining… very yummy fish and fries….. great location can grab an order and venture to the beach to eat. Reasonably priced. Great and friendly staff. Plenty of parking. We stopped ordered the two piece fish and fries….very tasty. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return.
